What Did You Smoke Today

Tonight I had a Partagas 898 Varnished. It is very flavorful with leather, coffee, and sweet cedar flavors. 4/6 smokerings.

Today I opened with a 5 Vegas Miami Corona, moved to a 5 Vegas 'A' Anamoly, and later had...well...another 5 Vegas Miami, this time a torpedo

Cusano 18 DC w/coffee for bfast, El Rey del Mundo sumatra after lunch, and right now a Rocky Patel Fusion with some Knob Creek. I'm going to give a San Cristobal after dinner. Highly recommended by the tobacconist at my local B&M, I hope is as good as the other Pepin cigars I've had. They've all been very good to great and I have high hopes for this one.

Tonight i had a Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur for the first time. It was a good smoke overall. It had a smooth nutty flav throughout and a great burn.

Hatchetman you alway talk about those 5 vegas. You talked me into it im gonna have to order some and give them a try.

Sweet! Cigar.com has a nice 5 Vegas Sampler, 2 different ones actually. One with and without a 5 Vegas Miami.

5 Vegas Sampler (5 Cigars)
This sampler showcases all of the blends from the best selling brand 5 Vegas. Includes one each of the following: 5 Vegas Classic, 5 Vegas Gold, 5 Vegas Series A, 5 Vegas Miami and 5 Vegas Limitada.

$19.95

5 Vegas Sampler (4 Cigars)
Includes 4 cigars, 1 each from each of the 5 Vegas lines: 5 Vegas Gold Churchill, 5 Vegas A Artisan, 5 Vegas Torpedo, & 5 Vegas Limitada.

$12.95

Get the one with the Miami! It's by far the best 5V has out. My fave sizes in the Classic are the Torpedos and Panatelas, the Series "A" would be the Artisan (robusto) and Anomaly (petite corona). The Gold doesn't matter to me because they're all quite mild, and for the Miami I like the Churchill best followed by the Toro. Honestly I could live without the Gold but all their cigars are well worth the money IMHO.

Just my $0.02

A little late but last night I smoked a Cusano 18 DC. They catch is that I have been holding it for two years. I have just one more left for the first BOX of cigars I ever bought. All I can say is WOW! I really enjoy these stix but rarely have them since I am still trying all the ones I have yet to sample. They best thing was it have the exact flavor of a fresh one (I remeber because I smoked a fresh one recently from a smapler I ordered) but without any harshness. I now understand a buttery smooth cigar. All I can say is that it was very hard to hold on to this stick for so long but to all the Cusano lovers out there I recomend trying.
:soap:

Well I guess that was a bit long!

Over the weekend a 5V "A" Apocalypse, a few RP Conn., an RP Fusion, a 5V Classic Panatela, and finished it off w/a San Cristobal last night. Another very good cigar from Pepin. Reminded me a lot of the 5V Miami but with more spice and a bit earthier flavor backing it up.

today after work I had a Bolivar Royal Corona with a snifter of Extase XO. Great way to end a Monday!!![/center]

Today was 5 Vegas day...started out with a 5 Vegas Gold in the morning, mid morning had a 5 Vegas Limitada '06, and on the drive home had a 5 Vegas Classic.

(yesterday)
I smoked a camacho corojo torpedo (my first camacho) gave me a HUGE buzz, hahaha, and then that night had a CAO America

I've decided it is probably better for me to have only one full-bodied cigar a day :?

No 5 Vegas day is complete without that "after sunset" 5 Vegas Miami.

What a day....

It's fall break for me, so no classes today or tomorrow.
Todays damage was a Slow-Aged by Perdomo natural robusto, a Camacho Corojo Churchill, and a Camacho Corojo Maduro Figurado (6x54). After smoking one Camacho there isn't much else I have that'll stand up to the first one, and I didn't eat enough to smoke an El Cobre, so i was pretty much stuck with another Camacho.
