What Did You Smoke Today

Wooldaddy:
I have greatly enjoyed your posts and replies over the last six months.
You bounce all over the place. I'm curious. I enjoy talent and I think you have it.
PM me and give me the real story. We could communicate and help each other.

today i enjoyed an Arturo Fuente Special selection that my girlfriends father gave me. It was was a great stick.

Today I had a Arturo Fuente Exquisito and a Cusano M1 Torpedo while stuck on the interstate.

I just finished off the evening with a Fuente Hemingway in celebration. I put a down payment on an engagement ring this afternoon. Very soon I will be asking the woman of my dreams to become my wife. I am very excited about this development. :D

malone...I will PM you tomorrow or Sunday. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Congrats Wolf... I'll be in the same position your currently in within a few years, i've already started saving for a ring b/c they can cost a ton...just think of how many cigars we could buy w/that money.

Thanks kman

Rings do get to be pretty expensive, but I scored a pretty sweet deal. I saw some on ebay for $50,000 and more.

I do have to curb my spending habits though. I won't be buying as many cigars as I'd like to for a while, but that's ok. There are more important things in life than cigars.

Just start a box pass, you'll have more than enough
Seriously though, congrats bro.

Today I had a Chateau Fuente Sungrown and a La Gloria Cubana Soberanos from 2000...very nice 2 1/2 hr smoke.

Tried two new cigars yesterday, both were excellent. The first was a Cupido Torpito, a 4 1/2 by 54 belicoso. It was a slow, even burning cigar with a good draw and a great flavor. After dinner, I had a Cubita Spanish Market Selection robusto, and this could well be the best value I've ever seen. $4.35, 5 1/4 by 52, full bodied and complex. It started spicy and developed fruity notes within the first few minutes, never tasted anything like it. Spice mellowed and more woody flavors began to show themselves, and it finished out very rich. An awesome smoke made even better by the price!

camacho corojo magnum 05 - Better than the 04 and not a bad smoke

cusano c10- still in my top 5. Truley an excellent cigar.

i had a carlos torona signiture which i thought was quite good. I really like the bands on this cigar also, they are a cream color and look very nice.

Malone,

I wish I had the funds to smoke all the great smokes you get to smoke each day! *thumbs up*

2 sticks today:

Padron Anniversary Monarca Maduro from 2002...no matter how hard I try, I can't get these to burn un-evenly

on the other hand:

Opus X Double Corona, uneven burn at times and had to relight once...but that didn't take away from the enjoyment one bit

Two of my best friends are in your area. One lives in Toronto and the other lives in London ON N6G 1S4. You know what those numbers represent. At times I can be found at 143 Front Street. Will be there this September for a week.I will also be at the Legends that same week. I'll be one of only 10 Americans invited by you Canadians. It will be like the Indians surrounding the wagon train. It you want to be surrounded, I hope that all are as lucky as me to be surrounded by Canadians. Greatest and toughest people I have ever met. You must have a character of granite in order to handle the cold and a screwed up government ( taxes). My hat is always off to Canadians- except one little area- and I won't start that. I got my cigar start in Canada and could not believe the sky high prices- until one man taught me how to work the system. It's easy and legal. No risk- I'm honest and it is not via a shipping method in plain paper.

I'll only answer questions on a PM basis. There are only two people that know this trick. I'll give hints.

6/12

This afternoon I had a Punch Royal Coronation, and I just finished a Cusano 18 robusto. Still feeling a bit lightheaded after the Cusano. :drunk:

Perhaps I didn't have enough to eat tonight.

I had an Ashton aged maduro yesterday and an Ashton VSG this morning.

The aged maduro was very enjoyable, but after it went out halfway developed a nasty kind of chemical taste, that was present even without being lit? Not sure where it came from, I use a butane lighter.

The VSG was good too, but wasn't as interesting/flavorful as the maduro. But I must've liked something about it cause this is the first time I've come close to burning my fingers with a cigar.
