What Did You Smoke Today

On Friday I played some golf (yes, what a shock) - it has been tough to play due to knee problems - should start injections next week to work on that. Okay, I smoked a TON.

I started the morning with a Hoyo Petit Robusto - a great way to start the round with coffee. Moved to a Monte Petit Edmundo and then smoked 2 Jose Piedra Cazzadores. Played well for an old man. The highlight was an eagle on our 15th hole - rattled the pin from 140 yards and dropped right in the hole.
Don't know how much I will be able to smoke this week.

This is why I will never play golf with u I suck! Maybe a pitch n put or better yet minigolf I always win when I play th eold lady in minigolf!

You give me too much credit - play enough golf and an eagle is bound to happen, Tom!

To me, golf is something to do while smoking a cigar. You should take me up on it sometime.

Smoked a new one for me - a Hoyo Churchill '00. What a GREAT smoke.

The draw was perfect - the flavor was mild to medium - it was very much like the Hoyo Petit Robusto - but a bit stronger. Perfect burn, great amount of smokes - looking forward to another one next week.

I have to get more of these!

Smoked two yesterday - a Bolivar RC and a PSD4. I really shouldn't be smoking good smokes on the golf course. Got aggravated out there because I was held up by slow play. Smoked the Boli way too fast. Great flavors and burn but I puffed on it so much it started getting harsh. The PSD4 had a tear near the cap so I had to clip it more than I wanted to - no matter what I couldn't get the greatest of draws. A frustrating day with cigars yesterday.

to catch up a bit..

Friday Night i Enjoyed a Rocky patel 15th Anniv. Box Press

Both Saturday and Sunday i had Nub Habanos

I smoked a Diablo Picantes Corona today. It was like very bitter coffee. Nice at the beginning but the bitterness got old real quick.

I have been looking at this thread for a few years & cant remember if I ever posted here , What did you smoke today? dammmmm thats a tuff one, I like to start the day with a Don Carlos #3 , coffee & a walk, if its Hot I stop at the smoking room , if its Cold I stop at the smoking room, if its raining...... you get the idea.... On the way to work I will fire up something mild to medium & then when I get to work, get the coffee on then its open season , I have no idea what I will the urge to fire up, with 2 walk in humidors at the shop the sky is the limit,,, today I "found" a JFR ( just for retailers) in one of my desk top humidors at home so I just had to fire it up , then I went exploring at the shop , a Butera Poco Bella caught my eye & when it was finished , it got fallowed up with a snifter of scotch , 1/2 pot of coffee & then a Nice old R&J contraband robusto,,, & before you know it , time to go home & an Opus pitite corona for the ride home , it was way to hot out to have a cigar this evening on the back deck, its almost 10 Pm here in da Burgh & the temp is still 87 F with a humidity level that my humidor would be glad to have 70% right on the nose, way to hot & humid to sit out & smoke ...... so I think I will ahve a weeee dram of scotch & go to bed ! Enjoy,Vince

Yesterday while working out in the garage, I smoked a CAO Maduro. It was okay. It ws also my first cigar of Fall.

Smoked a chico with a.few years by the pool.. just great! Drank a new Belgium hoptober.. not bad at all!

Smoked a wonderful HDM Epicure#2 with some nice age on it the other nightwhile watching Bama decimate Florida. The cigar was almost perfect. like Bama..Roll Tide!

Finally had a smoke this morning for the first time in about 3 weeks.

Smoked an '09 RASS on the course. Very soggy nine (our 4th hole was closed.) Starting to dry out - hopefully we get some nice weather for the next 4 or 5 days and it will be in great shape.

The RASS was perfect - great draw, great burn - the usual excellent RASS flavor. When I have one cigar to smoke that's the one for me. Tomorrow I hope to get out again first thing and smoke an '09 Monte Petit Edmundo. Probably another month and a half of golfing - after that - very little smoking for me.

Today was the Petit Edmundo ('10 not '09)! I nubbed that sucker - what a GREAT GREAT smoke. Accidentally kicked it while I was on the 4th green - still held up. I am down to my last dozen of them - will probably hold on to the rest for springtime.

Just smoked a Gurkah Centurion with about 4 years on it. Good smoke! Enjoyed Lagavolin with it...God I could drink that stuff instead of water!

Smoked a La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 2 with Loren on the banks of the Delaware River today. I hadn't expected to like it as much as I did - it was GREAT!!!! Very thin ring (which I normally don't smoke) - it changed about 1/3 to 1/2 way through the cigar from a nice earthy, cocoa smoke to a very herbal/floral smoke.

Loren said they aren't in production anymore - too bad - I would definitely buy a box!

Smoked a 31 year old Honduran Corona by Loren Gomez and a Padron Panatela I picked up that had literally brown cello. It was fantastic!
