What Did You Smoke Today

I'm with you Bikey, I think I would have been chucking that cigar pretty darn fast. Either that or disecting it piece by piece to see if there were any more of those little buggers in there.

I finally got to smoke yesterday, went for a walk and had one of the Torano Exodus that I have been saving. First two thirds was quite strong, settled down to a real nice smoke. Good smoke after quite a lay-off!!

Smoked a Symphony by Ghurka Churchill, the last half looking out an upstairs bedroom window, at a beautiful, peaceful, quiet, foggy scene in my neighborhood. My buddy Michaelsean sent me a box of these for my 48th birthday, I believe. With nearly a year and a half of age, this tasted great, and it seems they only get better. It's possible that this is a cigar that could stand up to as much as three years of age.

blech...thass nassty :bolt:

Today I smoked:

Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur
5 Vegas "A" Artisan
Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion Churchill
Henry Clay something or other
half of an Ashton Maduro #40

Had an awesome looking Cohiba Robusto yesterday walking around Fisherman's Wharf. A few people came up to me and asked where I was able to get it

It lasted just over an hour and tasted great

Today I had a Partagas Black Label Maximo, which is the tubed cigar. It was my first Partagas black label. I'm not sure what to think. I loved the taste but the draw was extremely tight which I didn't care for. Are the Partagas Black's normally a tight draw or did I find a bad one?

Sancho Panza

I just finished a Sancho Panza Double Maduro Escudero. It had a much better finish than it did a taste. I was smoking it while doing my daily walk around the farm so maybe I was hitting it a little harder than when I sit on the porch and relax.

I was expecting much better from the cigar. The taste and aroma seemed to be variable. Excellent one puff and weak on the next.

I was also disappointed by a Don Leonicio Robusto I smoked yesterday. I picked it up at Havana Dreams in Ybor City, Tampa. It came off weak. Its aroma reminded me of a cheap machine made cigar.

I think I'll go smoke a Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Robusto just so I know I'll like it.

I smoked a 5 Vegas A last night at a buddy's house. Man, that cigar was good. I gotta get more of those cigars ( I only have one left.)

Carlos Torono 1916 Cameroon

A little stronger than i'm used to but whole lotta flavor.....awesome looking churchill

kinda made me light headed and naushious

I'm smoking a CAO maduro toro. It's a rich little smoke full of flavor and hints of pepper. Maduro=tasty.

i had a ghurka somthing or other, started off decent, but i had some serious tunneling issues, i relit it and the flavor never got rid of the nasty ash acrid taste so i chucked it. then i had a fuente special edicion, it was so so.

Dropped the wife off at the mall so she could shop, and had myself a Sol Cubano Connecticut Toro while I waited.

Woke up late today, due to working on the house so late last night. I went to the shop to see a good friend. He usually doesn't work Sunday, but traded with the other guy. We started with some good smokes. He had an Opus SB, and I started with the usual morning smoke, the Fuente Don Carlos robusto. I went out and got some roast beef sandwiches and finished with a Partagas Black label from early 2005. It is the first time I have smoked one of these since I started smoking the Vegas A. Wasn't all that bad, but I have said it before and will say it again: the Vegas A has more flavor. I then went home and started working on the house again.

The 5 Vegas A are awesome...I smoke one of those almost every day...unfortunately, I've only got a few left.
