Worst beer?

Beer, sweet Beer. Have I ever had a bad one? Yeah I have. Even in college when I was young and broke I would not drink Old Dutch (Old Douche) and Shaeffer. Both tasted like pi$$ and I would rather lick toads to get buzzed.

I have a can of Stegmaier that sits on a shelf down at the parents house. Has a goat or something on the can. I found it down in a well, obviously because of it's great flavor it was left down there instead of being recovered.

wow all these posts and nobody added fall's city out of louisville,ky.'uuuggghhh started gagging just typing the name

Worse beer ever

Rhinelander, a fine Wisconsin "Export Beer" or so the lable claimed, bought it for $4.00 a case and that included deposit. Had to drink a Bud Light to wash the awful taste out of my mouth if that tells you anything about how bad it was. :drunk:

Milwaukee's Best Lite. I once drank a few of these with an alcoholic neighbor... you know, just trying to be sociable. Those are horrid. I am sure there are worst beers, but that one is the worst I have tried. Miller Lite is pretty bad too. In fact I dont like any beer that has 'lite' or 'low carb' anywhere on the label. I love Shiner's Heffewiezen, and Fat Tire, but those are the only two I like that you can even partially see through. Love the guinness, and most porters and stouts that I have tried, as well as most brown ales. I love british beer. I once had a pilsner from a microbrewery that I liked, but I must have been sick that day or something :D I dont drink too often, and mostly I get a Shiner Bock on draft occasionaly when I eat out, that being the most readily availible beer that I enjoy... but its not my favorite (I only drink one out of a bottle in an emergency). Cheers! Lets all be safe and practice moderation.

I don't think anyone has mentioned National Bohemian, brewed in Baltimore- "the Land of Pleasant Living" I think it stated on the can. Iron City and Duquesne(I don't think it is brewed now) would be candidates. I also thought Honey Brown was terrible.

Anything in the Josef Hoffbauer line. Tastes like a combination of Milwaukee's Best and Miller High Life with the aftertaste of a German Warsteiner. Nasty.

But what do I know, I drink JW Dundee's Honey Brown and Newcastle.
Guinness is not that bad, as long as you limit yourself to one or two.

I like to drink a Guinnness Stout or two every once in a while- it goes well with steak. Most Americans' taste buds prefer the lighter brews. The lighter beer, Harp, is very good.

I like Budweiser. But what the hell were they thinking with Bud Select? Did a sewer line burst over the tanks and they just went ahead and capped the bottles and put on a different label?

:grumble:

I have to add Samuel Addams Triple Bock to the list of nasty tasting beers. It taste like thick swamp water that has been aged in a burned out tree stump!I took one sip and dumped it out.

I really dont like Tecate....I think it is mostly the huge headache that stuff gave me though, not so much the taste.

Hmmm... Newcastle is great, especially on draft. I was wondering about the Sam Adams Triple Bock - I heard good things about it in the past, but I never have managed to locate any to try. I dont like Sam Adams lager at all, but their Ale is pretty good.

Reminds me of Sammy's Chocolate Bock. About the same taste, but with a unpleasant syrupy tatse in there as well. Sadly, I tried to get my money's worth, and drank about half the bottle before giving up. I love a good Sammy, but that one just wasn't worth the cash.

The worst I've had was a Czech beer a buddy of mine and I tried. I had a headache within 10 minutes of drinkin' it, and I don't think he even finished his. It had a metallic taste, and a decent aftertaste, but then the pain hit. All I remeber is that it had an elephant on it. I think I blocked out the rest...

Gennese Cream Ale
Genny Lite
Gennese Ice

Anything from Gennese

Freshman year of college all of the under age brothers of my fraternity gave money to one of the older brother to buy beer. He came back with every kind of Genny available. There was a sale for $5 per 30 pack. Needless to say it took two weeks of us hard swallowing this stuff to get rid of it. We never let brother Boot go on the beer run again; which was his plan the whole time.
