HEY ALL YOU NEW FOLKS!

Welcome to the forum!

We have built a pretty close knit group here, and ALL of them kind, generous, and stand up people. We love to gain new members who are cut from the same cloth.
We all spend some considerable time on the boards, and I myself like to know who I'm conversing with.
So, Please post up and tell us a little about yourself, how you came to the cigar hobby, your faves, how you heard about the forum, etc...
You will not find a nicer bunch in all of cyberspace!!

So Again, WELCOME!

Hi everyone, I guess its time I introduce myself.

Orginally from NJ, and a Stockton College Grad. I'm now a 1st year medical student at WVU School of Medicine. I've been smoking cigars since I was a senior in high school. Started out with R&J primarily. I was probably the only guy in my college dorm who had a humidor with him all 4 years. Recently went from my 150 ct to a 300ct and I couldn't be happier as I'm starting to fill it up. I love Ashton VSG, I became good friends with a cigar store guy outside atlantic city and he used to get me boxes once or twice a year. I've also been smoking the Maria Mancini's lately and really enjoy them. I have even managed to get my girlfriend to smoke the occaissional Fuente.

I have become a huge scotch fan. Nothing like a trip to Canada, where a gorgeous bartender can introduce you to The Glenlivet and you are hooked for life.

I play a lot of golf, tennis and racquetball. I also play alot of poker, add scotch and cigars and the night is perfect.

looking forward to talkin to eveyone

I couldn't have said it better myself. Welcome to the forum from Charleston, SC.

Kelvin

I grew up in Mendham, which is Morris county, not too far from your sussex. Now the homestead is in Edgewater.

And you went to Stockton, which isn't far from my turf!

NICE!

What smokeshop are you friendly with outside of AC? I could use a hook up someplace!

Did you ever get to the one in Smithville?

the guys in smithville had 2 stores called smokers haven. One was on rt 9 where it intersects with leeds point road, that's still the smithville/galloway area. The one up in the shops of smithville is ok, its just a little small.

There was a heavy set guy named Rob (I'm pretty sure it was Rob, we knew each other more by sight) at the Rt 9 store, who used to take good care of me. I heard they recently had a fire though, so I'm not sure if he's still there. The woman that works at those two stores will not be of any real help, she's a part owner I think but has very little cigar knowledge

I grew up in Morris County so I know the area. I played in a Bergen County softball league back in the day and I remember playing in Edgewater. Looks like during breaks we will be harassing you to join us for our get togethers.

did u play lacrosse? I used to play on my lax team at my high school, Livingston High School. Where in Mendham did you go to school?

Howdy everyone..
Just started in the cigar arena. I've tried the Arturo Fuente Churchill, Royal Salute so far. Got a humidor coming so we'll see how it goes. At the work site, Backwoods Honey/Berry, etc. are just fine.

Welcome mustang and once you start with the premiums you will want to use those backwoods for firewood.

These should be here this week. Any input on these?
*Partagas Black Label Magnifico, 6 X 54, Magnifico, Dominican
*Partagas Fabulosos, 7 X 52, Fabulosos, Dominican

one of my faves.

great for early fall smoking, early afternoon smoking, late night smoking, late spring smoking,...
now that i think about it, its good any time.
I like it best in late september, just as the leaves are starting to turn on that one last warm day in the fall.

Nice start. Welcome to the forum Mustang. Hope you stay around a while. There is a lot to learn from these guys.

Welcome to the forum, Mustang!

That Royal Salute is an awesome smoke! I loved it, but hated it when there was nothing left to smoke and burnt my fingers.

The Partagas Black is another fine smoke, along with the Cusano Corojo!

Never tried the Fabuloso. Be sure to write a review on it after you smoke it.

Welcome Mustang and thank you for what you do. Stick around, this is great forum to learn from. Good choice in cigars you have.
