Although I am not one to say I told you so, I TOLD YOU SO!!! I am sorry, but for those who I am in contact with (other than the forum) I said something wasn't right from the beginning. I gave him FAIR chances, giving him PM'd advice on cigars and pipes. I never said anything publicly, but his first post was asking about a "cheap cigar" because he didn't have much money. Hell, I don't have much money. But the next week he was out buying Opus, Anejo's, and special edition cigars... TO GIVE AWAY!!! BTW, DD, did he ever send you that "expensive" cigar?? I am done, I am sorry if I offended anyone for my words. I have made alot of GREAT friends here, by trades, promises and "just because" gifts. I never ask for anything in return, EXCEPT respect for Cigar.com, Amback and last but Definitely not least MY FAMILY HERE!

I did not want to say anything untill I heard from him, but I sent him 30 bucks for some Opus about 3 weeks ago. I have emailed him, but have not recieved a responce. I guess I can kiss that money good bye!! It was a shame too, I thought I could help him a little bit. I guess you just never know!

I had a feeling then, like you, but didn't say anything. By then he had already had the box. I wish we had announced our reservations. Maybe this wouldn't have happened. Who knows?
All I know is that we can fix this. For Dean and for everyone else that was a part of the pass.

I simply didn't like the guy. I made a point of quietly avoiding him, so I didn't really have much contact with him. He always seemed like a prick to me. I remember someone told me he (syntax) had PMed him asking where he gets his Cubans, and he also sent me a PM asking about Opus when my shop had them for cheep.
I was not part of the pass but what should be done to syntax is the same thing taht happend to bobby in sleeper cell...burry him up to his head in the desert and stone him untill...well you know

I've used this avenue about 6 or seven years ago and it works like a charm. The people at the AG are very nice to deal with. Doesn't cost a penny and they can nuke him from orbit
It's very tough trusting people you don't know or have even met. I was amazed that you let me participate! I just started posting in October.
I like the idea of sending cigars to Capt to help continue the box pass. So, are we gonna do it? Either way, I'm sending some to Capt tomorrow. Just 'cus he's a stand-up guy and I know the feeling of receiving a box with mystery cigars.
p.s. I'd hope that if anyone had any 'bad vibes' about me they PM me about it to talk, rather than avoid me.
