What Did You Smoke Today

dbrad you have been busy with all those cigars. I like the Honduran Primeros for the price. Nice cigar that I never feel guilty about putting out early if I have to.

Playing a little catch up Mac.

Finally got in a few days of vacation last week and my wife's grandmother died so I spent a long weekend with the only smoke I could get in were the Avo Domaine Puritos.

About to start in on the CAO Extremes I've been letting sit in the humi along with the Punch Rare Corojo and Camacho Corojo Darks.

Going to have to get another bundle of the Primeros as soon as my wallet inflates again.

Oliva O Classic Ole....good cigar. I enjoyed the second half much more than the first.

Haven't had a Diploma in almost a week, I think I'm going through withdrawl

2 smokes today:

Fuente 858 Maduro after a light lunch. The burn was a mess for the first half but then it settled down nicely.
After returning home from a Thai dinner I fired up an H. Upmann No. 2 paired with some Glenfiddich. This one just kept getting better as it burned. Not too strong of an aroma though.

Been smoking everyday--just haven't accessed this thread because lately I've only been smoking two cigars--CAO MX2 and RP Edges. Today though I picked up a pack of Al Capone cognac dipped cigarillos (they were sold out of the Fuentes and Cohiba Red Dots) which I decided on for quick smokes. Absolutely horrible little things. They have the most acrid stench and acidic taste. NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm just going to have to splurge on some short story's.

I'm sat in my office doing some paperwork smoking a lovely Oliva O maduro, think its the orion. Hmm, need to think of some cigars to smoke whilst I watch the cricket for the rest of the day! :duh:

AVO Domaine Purito, AF Exquisito, Honduran Primero Toro, and CAO Black Mosaic. The Mosaic started out a little harsh but got better after 3/4". Burn was good, lots of smoke.

those Edges are excellent...I've only had a few, but I like them a lot.

Haven't smoked anything worthwhile since Saturday, probably won't until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. :(

I have been neglecting my diplomas lately because it has been so hot and I have slowed down a little. I had one just this afternoon. It was like falling in love with it all over again.

Oh Yea Wolf! Looked great, smoked better, great smoke volume which is what I like.
I'm kinda like you during the week, bought a bundle of primero Toro's from here and cut them in half.

usually I smoke a lot more during the week, but my funds are a bit tight right now and the only sticks I have on hand are recovering from being dried out.

I get paid tomorrow tho...I'm definitely going to hit the smokeshop tomorrow.

Wolf

Those primeros are a buck a stik for 50. The toro's are a good size.
The cigar is a little soft on the construction, sometimes a little uneven on the burn.
But a good medium/full taste that is a great value. And you don't mind having to lose one in the middle of a smoke for any particular reason! (Wife/kid/dog or anything else)

Ah Macallan....I am in the same boat...

Paid a visit to the old friend myself today....

It must have been mad at me, cause it knocked me down a little!

I tried the Primeros and didn't care for them too much. I might give them another try tho..they're definitely a good value.

I broke down and went to the smokeshop today...picked up a tin of Partagas Black Label Prontos, a tin of Cohiba Pequenos, a Short Story, and a Punch Gran Cru, I think it's the Britania. 6.25 x 50. I smoked one each of the Partagas and the Cohibas. I like them both pretty well. I may or may not get more of the Cohibas, but I'll definitely get the Prontos again. Very good.

I'm gonna try the Punch tonight.

I tried my first RP Edge thanks to Vince.
Ordered my first box yesterday
Torpedo Maduros

Terriffic sticks huh? Just let them rest first or you'll probably have problems with them fingering.

Earlier today I had a Padron Churchill maduro which held nearly a 3 inch ash and was as smooth as can be.

This evening (after a brief typical SoCal power outage) I'm following 'Smoka and Macallan's lead and burning a Diploma as I type. I had to wait for it to cool down a bit outside otherwise the heat combined with the power of this stick would have kicked my a$$

Yeah...it did for me....I was sweating already before smoking it...then half way through I started to drip off of my chair....slammed a bottle of apple juice and I was good to go!
