Yesterday I had an AVO Maduro #2. Good, fairly mild smoke. Good construction and draw. Burn was good and even, lots of smoke. Then had an AVO Domaine Puritos and an AF Exquisitos while grilling some smoked sausage.
Picked up a bundle of Consuegra #17 Superiore Maduro. Getting kids back to school is killing my cigar funds.
The first two of this bundle were not too bad at all. Good burn, lots of smoke, decent flavor.

Today was a Short Story for breakfast, Partagas for lunch and a La Gloria Cubana Serie R 4 for dinner. Tonight will be a blind pick from the humidor. I just hope I don't pick my only Opus!!! I am still saving it!

I smoked a Opus Phantom, all while drinking Johnnie Green Label, nice combo, the Opus Lancero is an awesome size.....It's actually my favorite sized Cigar...I'm starting to get into the smaller rings....
I know.....It didn't last long at all!!! I wanted to have a nice Night of it.....and it was calling me Loren...tapping on my Humidor walls, tapping on my conscience....It was an awesome smoke...

After I left my dentist office with her ok to resume smoking today, I had an Opus X robusto as I watched the Dept of Forestry put out a wildfire in the hills right outside of town. Took them 2 hours to supress that b****. Came home and had a M4 with a Stone I.P.A. (local from San Diego...not bad, but not great either). Tonight I'm heading to S.D. for an annual music festival called Street Scene. Lots of bands, lots of girls :wink: and lots of smoke. I'm bringing a VR Unicos, Diploma and a 5 Vegas torpedo courtesy of Eclipse (thanks bro).

A Gurkha Boer (which is an Ironic name because it was a “bore”, and I LOVE Gurkhas) and an Opus X Forbidden X – first time the Opus X has not disappointed me.
