What Did You Smoke Today

I managed to smoke a very nice Cusano 18 DM Robusto yesterday while scoring points by getting some fall yard work done.

Thanks, Rob, that was an excellent smoke brother!!

Too funny Bikeman...I just pulled a C18 maduro robusto out of the humi for a pre dinner smoke 8)

This morning I had the last Monte #3 from a box dated FEB 03

Wow, must be something in the air. I also had a C18 DM this afternoon. What are the odds?

I enjoyed a PSP2 out in the yard this evening as I finished up turning 5 pounds of jalapeños into 1 pound of chipotles.
My clothes never smelled so good

Gurkha "The Beast" (from the Friday 1-day deal)
Cusano Corojo (2005) robusto
Ashton VSG robusto

Damn, what a nice weekend!

I managed to fit in a Danli Reserve Churchill early this afternoon. The ash was so solid that I thought it would never fall off.
At just over four inches it bailed on me, but not before I took this:

That's pretty sweet. I still have yet to try one of those. I think I still have afew from the Chicago sit-down last year.

This weekend's smokes:

Opus X Perf. 4 with a bit of Jameson's
Medalist by Alec Bradley Corona Gordo
Excalibur 1066 Lancelot
Joya De Nicaragua Antano Consul

Met some friends for wings a beer. I am moving on Wed so I am in a mad dash to polish off all the cigars in one of my humidors before the move. I dont have enough room!!!

I smoked a Tatuaje Miami Regios and a Cusano Hermanos Vintage Madure (2003) I am on a bender so I am not posting these on my blog but here goes.

Tatuaje- My god how is the cigar made by man. I firmly believe they fell from the sky. Absolutely amazing.

Hermanos Maduro - I love this cigar usually but this particular one has been in and out of humidity. While I consider myself as knowing a little somehting about aging, I must admit that I have not taken good care of this stick when it came home with me a few months ago. The effect was fairly catastrophic to the flavor. Note to anyone who picks these up, you will need to take care of them... but if you do the work is worth the reward.

Enjoyed a Cusano Corojo 97 last night. very nice and full of flavor. Tonight, I had a Baccarat Maduro Rothschild. Have a box I'm trying to smoke my way through. Bought the box before I was enlightened to RP Vintage 1990's....Gawd, I love those things.

Can't edit my post, but that Cusano Corojo I smoked was a 1997, not 2005. DOH! It was a Monday, so give me a break. Gonna be a long week.

I just finished up some leftover spaghetti that I threw in a sauté pan with some fresh minced garlic and basil oil.

Following that up with a RP '92 Torpedo

Yesterday I smoked a CAO Criollo. I really enjoyed it. Reminded me alittle bit of a RP 1990 I smoked a few weeks ago except the strength of the cigar hit me in my stomach. Whoa! I need more of these!

Geez that sounds yummy

I had a Java from Drew Estates. Wasn't the greatest but did the trick of changing things up a little bit.

Tonigh I had a Cohiba XV (Extra Vigoroso) which was an excellent smoke.

Me and the wife are now heading out the door to a new Cigar & Martini Bar that just opened up in our area. Later!!

Lucky you! There really isn't anything like that here in my city :(

Reading this post and most posts here make me want to go out and smoke a cigar. So thats exectly what I just did

I just smoked a Flor de Oliva 10th anni with some Patron. These Olivas might just be the best bang for the buck. Just 2 bucks and some change for this robusto at the local shop. It left me with a nice buzz! Gimmie more!!
