What Did You Smoke Today

I smoked a Hemingway WOAM that was gifted to me - it was great to be able to sit in the sun and enjoy this good cigar.

Ok so I changed my mind. I am about half way through an RP '92 robusto and one of the last bottles of the strong ale I brewed this summer. It is getting cold at night behind the redwood curtain!

Last night before I went to Beer club, I smoked a Rubusto Don Diego Playboy that I have had in my humi for a while. I initially purchased 2 and smoked the first about 12-14 months ago and it wasn't that great...the flavors were all over the place, and it was just very inconsistent in both flavor and burn. Last night however, I experienced a completly different cigar. It lit very nicely, and burned almost perfect with the first ash at about an inch or so, and it was very smooth, consistent flavor and towards the mid to end I couldn't even believe that it was the same cigar. I suppose this begs the question...Can a cigar really change that much? If so, I'm looking foreward to the 3 that i just picked up on Tuesday...but i'm going to wait a good amount of time.

Today I was able to enjoy a Sol Cubano maduro while playing the front 9. I need to stop ditching work early.

today is a good day.

my local shop finally opened the cigar bar part of the shop. I was one of the first to sit at the bar and smoke a cigar. I got a free lunch out of it too. I plan on going back with my notebook in hand so i can continue to bring all my friends here at AmBack reviews of the cigars i smoke through the winter months.

i didnt have my book today because i didnt know it was going to be open today. but i did stick around. I smoked a punch gran puro Pico Bonito ...and It was great. wonderful rich taste of black walnuts. if you have not had one of these go out and get some

NOW

why arent you going to get some yet? geeez...

I haven't been able to smoke anything since my Vegas trip 3 weeks ago.

It's been raining ALL day, so went to the local cigar shop and picked up and smoked a Padron 1926 no. 35 Maduro. Supposedly, they're called no. 35 because they're a 35 minute smoke. Well, they run nearly an hour in my opinion, especially if you smoke slow to savor them and smoke so far down that you neary burn your lips. :) What an excellent smoke! I know what I'm asking for for Christmas.

I smoked one of my year old Monte #4's yesterday afternoon. It was great to sit in the sun in the back yard and enjoy a good cigar. I am thinking that little one was still too young though - quite a bit of grassiness yet. One left - we will revisit it in about 6 months or so.

I smoked a Gurkha Nepalese Warrior this afternoon. Very nice I enjoyed every last linch of that big beautiful stick.

Had a nice 5 vegas A churchill with a couple pints of guiness at the bar. The only bad part of the evening was watching the tigers blow it, but they have a lot of young talent. Should be back in the mix next year

I haven't smoked a cigar in five days!!!

Five days for me as well, thats what a nasty head cold will do for my smoking habits. That ends tonight even if I have to sit outside in 40 degree weather with 25mph winds.

ok so it was the med school halloween party tonight, insane time with the my class (1st years) and the 2nd year class

I smoked 2 Nat Sherman Suave, excellent for a night out on the town...I handed out several as well and they were all well recieved.

I was Hugh Hefner, and I figured a cigar was close enough to his pipe.

Today I smoked a Trilogy Authentic Corojo Tri-Press Torpedo. Not a bad smoke but an uneven burn. Nice flavor and balance except for some harshness at the end.

It was last week, but I smoked the Fonseca Habana Blend that I got in the Xikar Friday Deal - that was a GREAT smoke. I would highly recommend it - burned well, very smooth cigar.

I smoked my first 5 vegas, a Gran Reserva that I got in a sampler last week. Burned a little funny at first, but evened out and was very nice.

Monte Cristo Platinum torpedo. Dang good smoke. Love the balance from start to finsh

smoked my second cigar.com cameroon label yesterday and it was soo good. I know why so many of you guys smoke these. I may need to get a box hummmm.
