What Did You Smoke Today

Yesterday mornign while hanging out with my little buddy and the women folk were out of the house I had a RYJ real belicoso. Ok mild smoke. Ha little bite for the fisrt few minutes but that subsided and the flavour of lightly roasted nuts picked u a little. Burn was ok, but it didn't hold an ash too well. Good smoke, but too light for me. I would give these out to guys who like to smoke once in a while and I'm sure they would enjoy them.

I just smoked a CAO Brazilia with a glass of...chocolate milk! What a great pairing! Now to figure out what to smoke for a birthday cigar tomorrow. Maybe a VSG.

Cohibasmoker... what did you think about the ESG. I know I have an opinion but I have kept it largely to myself.

I think you gave me your opinion on it before. I enjoyed the cigar a lot. It had a pretty slow even burn to it..first ashed after about 2 inches. It had tastes of carmel, chocolate, mocha and cedar which seemed to alternate as the dominating flavor each puff. It had tastes of carmel on the aftertaste...the cigar had a really tight draw...a bit tighter then i normally like...but all in all i found this cigar a very pleasant and pleasurable cigar. the strength is subtle and kinda sneeks up on you.

tonight i will be smoking a Padron 1926 40th maduro...really looking forward to it :D

How are those PD serieII?

I thought the Pueblo was pretty damn good however, I prefer the 5 vegas Cask strength a bit more I think. Lots of flavor. If you are looking for a real treat, spoil yourself on one of those Liberty 06's. I usually dont like a lot of cameroon, but that cigar was a real homerun.

Celebrated my birthday with an Opus X Reserva D'Chateau. Awesome smoke though next time I smoke an Opus churchill, I'm gonna eat more first. I almost had to lay down for a minute.

Happy Birthday dude. You probably had a recent production RDC. Buy one now for next year's big day and it'll be much tamer.

As soon as I got home from work I fired up a Cohiba robusto dated ABR 02 which was very smooth and creamy. Now I'm about to light up a La Aurora 1495 robusto which Capt sent me for my birthday. If it's as good as I think it's gonna be, I may add this to the "what smokes did you buy today" thread.

That's just what I was thinking. I bought two more when I got those (you're right, they are recent) and I think I just figured out what my next two birthday smokes will be. Now if I can just hold out that long.

Oooow, the 1495. A real good cigar. The burn on one I had about a month ago was excellent. I nubbed the SH!t out of it.

Axe, I hope you enjoy the 1495. I bought those on a recommendation from Alex and Thor.

Those are great cigars. Pricey, but awesome. I had forgotten all about these, now I'm going to have to get more.

That 1495 robusto was a damn fine smoke. I WILL be getting more of them!

Tonight I'm planning a reunion of sorts with some of my friends from the culinary academy as well as a couple of friends down for a paintball tournament. We finally have simultaneous days off so we're gonna BBQ, drink some spirits and fire up some primo smokes. It's gonna be a good night 8)

Sounds like good times, Axe!

Wish I could do the same but this flu is kickin' my a$$!
