What Did You Smoke Today

Padron 1964 Anniversary Torpedo Natural with a glass of Johnnie Walker Black. The cigar had about four years of age on it. Certainly noticed the taste difference between a fresh one and that one. Whoever says NCs don't age...I'd beg to differ.

Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles
Its the red label. Just as good as the miami version

Yesterday I smoked a Vintage Seconds, followed by a Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto with two putts. Today, I am smoking an OpusX Perfecxion 4....still very spicy and woody.

Does Don Pepin make the Achilles? I thought those were made at another factory?

yeah man, the first cigar made in his new factory

Apparently these cigars are blended by Ernesto Padilla and then constructed by Don Pepin.

Last night I had a chance to light up two sticks.

Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Belicoso
Camacho Corojo Monarca

God of Fire Carlitos 2005 robusto
JFR robusto: very impressed with this cigar. Thanks to Iminaquagmire

Glad you liked it. I did too and at the price, I think everybody should go to their B&M and get one to try.

I went to my winery's Christmas party tonight, and I must have handed out around 35 AF 858 Maduros.
It was the culmination of a very stressful day. I started out today by taking a drug test enforced by the soon to be new owners of the winery...which I passed without hesitation. Then I get to work an hour after opening to the public and find out that we are short staffed and a good amount of prep hasn't been done for lunch service. Luckily we only had a measly 35 reservations for lunch so it allowed me to leave early and enjoy a PSD4 which put me back at peace with the universe.

At the party I had an 858 maduro, followed by one of the best Bolivar Belicosos Finos I've ever had.

After getting a ride home with one of the restaurant's hostesses... , I returned home and fired up my first King B which pretty much sealed a perfect evening to a not so perfect day.

I hope all of you had an enjoyable day!

guys, I spent the whole day freaking out over a test score and now that I passed its time to celebrate.

I've had a few VSG Sorcerer's in my humidor for over a year now (might be 1.5 years). I'm pairing the VSG with a couple glasses of the glenlivet 21.

I haven't had a stick since Thnaksgiving. I am dying here. G@d D@mn wisdom tooth.

I am going to wait until Christmas eve for my annual Opus X after I put out the christmas presents for the kids from Santa. Last year it almost didn't happen when Alexyis wook up with the flu at around 1 am and didn't go back to bed for an hour. I had a feeling Santa was not going to be able to stop in. Luckily she fell back asleep and Daddy has his Christmas stick. This year will be the second year that I celebrate the tradition.

Today I braved the cold, and smoked an HdM Excaliber lonsdale that was gifted to me by DocT (thanks brother), the perfect smoke for a cold day. I highly recommend this one, lots of flavor, and a very reasonable price!

It was actually warm enough to smoke comfortably this afternoon!

So I had a Cusano C10 robusto. If you guys haven't tried one of these yet you really should. (I'm stalking the PIF, and my next winner will probably be getting one of these beauties) The corona size has lots of spice to it and the flavor is smooth but complex. This robusto is definitely smoother but the flavor is still nice and spicy.

I smoked my first El Ray De Mundo last night. A very nice smoke. Very light in the hand, light draw, but not light on taste. I was able to pull out four very distinct flavors. Cedar, wood, leather, and black pepper. This may quickly become a daily smoke for me. Reasonably priced and a nice 30 minute, your-in, your-out type of smoke. WIth the cold weather outside, that is exactly what i am looking for these. Medium bodied. I recommend this cigar to anyone wanting an easy to smoke quick tasty cigar.

RP Vinatge 1999 CT PC. I love these, they're light on body, but they have a nice complexity too. I like them to start out as I progress to fuller cigars. This one I only had about half of though, as I dropped it onto the floor of my car, and when I pulled over, the wrapper had split open and there was no salvaging it. I was so upset I threw it into the parking lot and drove off. What's funny is there was a guy in his truck next to me who watched the little fit I threw when I saw I wasn't going to be finishing my cigar.

My next cigar, in honor of Thor, was a Cien Anos maduro corona. I haven't had these in a long time but will defintitly not let that happen again. A real nice cigar with hints of cedar, leather, and dark roast coffee. Gotta get more of these.

I just finished a fantastic 5 vegas A Maduro (thanks Adam), and it was a very pleasant way to spend a cold 1.5 hours in the smoking shed on a great winter day!!
