What Did You Smoke Today

Thanks Chris, those are fast becoming a staple of my cigar buying habits although I seem to prefer the natural to the maduro.

I haven't been smoking many cigars lately with my work schedule as is but I find myself smoking proven winners when I do with the exception of the AVO which was the first I had tried. La Aurora 1495 coronas are way high on that list as are the Padron 64's.

Last night I had my first Ashton ESG. A very complex flavorful smoke. Well constructed cigar, burned consistently, produced a great cloud of aromatic smoke with just enough spice and an easy draw.
Glad I've got a couple more so I can do it again sometime soon.

Smoked a 5 vegas cask strength last night and a Peterson Gran Reserva today, Delish! Most of my recent smokes have be winners, im on a roll

Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut robusto
Ashton Cabinet Pyramid
Graycliff Professionale PGX

Damn good smokes!

Padilla Miami. Donny recommended it and sent me one with my last order. Very good call.

Gurkha Perfecto (unsure exactly what type) that Pbburner sent me in a PIF. Best burn I have ever seen on a perfecto, nice and even the whole way, great taste, earth and coffee is what I seem to be picking up on. Damn fine smoke it is.

I smoked a La Aurora Preferido (Sapphire) over a couple brews with some buddy's tonight. A very nice, very mild smoke in my opinion. I am not sure that I would pay the $16-18 for this smoke again, however if it was in the $8-10 price range, I might just gobble these up. The first half of the smoke was very mild and the second half seemed to become a little more full-bodied.

I got home and capped off the night with a COA Italia. I am a CAO junky...I have yet to find a CAO I didnt love.

i prefer the la aurora preferido platinum(cameroon)...IMHO the best of the line. However i have heard nothing but great things about their new Emerald(ecuador) blend...im looking forward to giving those a try. I had the Gold (corojo) and saphire as well (Natural)...i gotta say saphire was my least favorite out of them all.

Last night I had a Rocky Patel 1990 Torpedo followed by a Padilla Miami Robusto, both were okay, but not that great.

That's why I am wating to smoke my first cigar in a while until Christmas eve (well at that point it will be early christmas morning after I play santa). Cigars always taste muted when I am sick or for a couple of days after.

Right now I'm smoking a Tatuaje Noella....wow! Very flavorful with lots of earth, coffee, and some spice. Eat a nice meal before smoking this bad boy. For a petite corona, this is packed with flavor. Very nice ash that burns even and falls flush. I'd very highly recommend it. 91 easily. A nice alternative to Q*ban cigars.

Sancho Panza Cordoba

good for an inexpensive stick.
its a nice short smoke. I should keep these on hand in for short on time instances

I just had my first Sol Cubano Sumatra. WOW This think tastes good before you even light it. I liked this one.

fuente 8-5-8 while sitting in traffic today. My first and I really liked it.

I'm taking a few days off to get rid of this head cold. You know a cold is bad when you smoke a Padron 1964 and can't taste a thing.

Chris--my heart goes out to you man!!! Head colds are such a b**ch!! Hope you get to feelin' better soon.
(have ya tried zinc?)

I'd NEVER have guessed Cutter would have smoked a Shark last PM

(we just split that box yesterday) :D :D :D :D
