What Did You Smoke Today

Smoked a Perdomo Reserve Maduro while cleaning up the garden beds for spring. Like Steve mentioned, it was OK, but didn't knock my socks off.....

Just finished a Monte #5 on the front porch to make up for it....:)

I got to smoke a very nice RyJ Churchill today while mucking about in the back yard. Man I love those cigars, nice toasted almond tastes, and plenty of smoke for a spring afternoon.

I'm smoking a Perdomo Cab series Cameroon. Its a pleasant smoke nothing special but not bad either. The wrapper is very fragile so I might have some humidity issues going on in the humi it came from.

I don't think it's your humidor. I noticed that the wrappers on those are pretty thin after buying a handful. Four out of five smoked well but the one was a pain in the @$$.

HighPSI, lol. I looked at your first post and was shocked for a second.

Smoked a Petersons Gran Reserva Corona earlier and after dinner i have a Monte Cristo Serie C Torpedo that the owner of my local gifted me yesterday. Will report my findings a little later tonight.

Well at least I enjoyed dinner. 8) Grilled Tuscan style beef shish kebabs and Santa Fe style rice. Some grilled serrano peppers as well, damn those things were hot. Did I mention I love weather warm enough to get my grill fired up?

As for the cigar...Monte Cristo Serie C. The C being for Cameroon. Dissapointing to me, all I could taste was the wrapper and it wasn't that special to begin with. I'm not a big Cameroon fan anyways but enjoy some of them. This cigar just seemed to have no complexity whatsoever. This reminded me of the regular Partagas line and also the Astral Cameroon series and thats not a good thing, at least not to me.

as long as the propane tank is full, the lighter fluid not frozen, or the snow not above the hight of the grill, it is warm enough to fire up the grill.

sunday afternoon i nubbed a PUNCH MADURO.

this morning, [monday] i am on my way out to the
porch to pull on a CAO MX2. 8)

CIGARS are proof that GOD exists and he loves us!! :D

Here at N 31° 43.323' W 110° 3.321', it's 81° and climbing. I'm off to Allen Street to walk the dogs, Wile E and Coyote. I'm taking along an Ashton VSG, Churchill size, for the walk around the town.

Gran Habano 3 Siglos Torpedo. What a great smoke, nice construction, great burn, wood, leather and some charred taste.

Yes guys, as long as it's possible, my grill gets used. It's just nice to actually sit outside while my food cooks. 8)

On Monday - Punch Rare Corojo, Cuesta Rey Sun Grown #7 and a Monte #2. Went to my first cigar dinner run by a b & m that I go to. What a great time. Only knew 1 other person there, but left with about 15 new botl's. I won a Padron 1926 Anniv Maduro #2 and a few t-shirts as well. Never had a Padron 1926 before. This is the birthday smoke. Can't wait for the next dinner!

yesterday i had a 5 Vegas Type A "Apocalypse" ( 6 x 58 )

I always thought the Archetype ( 6 x 50 ) was good but I think that the larger ring does very good things to this cigar.

as always the aroma was wonerfully cedar and the taste was sweet and strong.
Even I am amazed that my favorite cigar is under $5 a stick.

Last night while on chat I had a fantastic Bolivar PC...great construction, beautiful wrapper, lots of coffee and cream flavors with a hint of chocolate. I could easily smoke two of these back-to-back.

Had an RP 90 corona for lunch and burned a La Aurora 1495 while in chat last night.

Just finished a VIP Peterson Bellicoso,

Did not like the first one I had about 6 weeks ago. After 6 weeks of sitting in my humi this cigar realy made a huge turn for the better. I realy enjoye this down to the nub. Ever get a chance to try these be sure you let them sit a bit before you smoke them. Well worth the wait!!!

I'm smoking a Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ right now using the new smoking technique I learned from the chatroom.

Exhae 3/4 smoke through mouth, the remainder through the nose. It's helping me enjoy this cigar a lot!

Though I find that sometimes if I exhale too much smoke through the nose, it burns as if I'd eaten too much Wasabi.
