What Did You Smoke Today

AF Hemmingway WOAM

The burn was perfect and the draw was medium-tight with plenty of smoke. The smoke was very heavy and hung in the air for minutes. A lot of earthy kind of woodsy tones to it. It did not get harsh at all near the end as some cigars tend to do. I nubbed this one until my fingers were hot. Since these smokes are seasonal, and only come out around the holidays I smoke them sparingly. Well tonight was just one of those nights. I figured what the heck. This particular Work of Art had about 2 months of rest on it. I have a few that have about 6months on them. I cannot wait to taste the difference. If you happen across these cigars, do yourself a favor and pick-up as many as the store will let you. You will not be disappointed. As a disclaimer, I have not tried the natural version of the WOA, only the maduro.

I dunno who edited my post, but the edited name is a Dominican cigar, with the parent company out of Miami, FL.

Oh well.

The last cigar I had was Mon. night. It was a Coronado by La Flor. It had an even burn and a nice spice, but I didn't see any advantage to this cigar over an OpusX or PSD4.

Smoking a wonderful RyJ Vintage #2. Very smooth, even burn, the ash seems a little loose like it wants to fall off but is still holding on 2 inchs into it. I almost want to say a hint of fruit in the after taste on the tongue.

Last night I had a Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchill. Three months has done wonders for this cigar. Much smoother and creamier with a hint of mint in the last third. These are definitely going to be worth aging.

Just finished a CAO Brazilia Samba. Next up, a Fuente Signature while I sit out back and shoot flies off of prickly pear cactus with my 45LC.

Last night I had a partagas black maximo with a couple pints of guinness at an Irish pub in town. It was a great way to end the day.

RP Sungrown Churchill. What a bloody excellent smoke! Haven't smoked one of these for months and forgot about how damn good they are.

I had a Vegueros marevera good smoke(really) and a Ramon Allones Specially Selected(this is for the ocassion).

Why does everyone uses Q*ban and not the actual spelling?
Sorry new kid dudes

edit: no it doesnt. maybe that would clear up confusion. iduno.
Im not a mod.

I'm sitting in my office now smoking a Corona by La Flor double corona. What a nice smoke. If you haven't tried one I highly recomend it!

Just about 5:00 here in Tombstone. Headed out to toast Wyatt Earp, he was born 159 years ago today.

I'm taking along a Fuente Hemmingway Signature.

Last night I had an OpusX Reserva d'Chateau while chatting with the usual suspects. It had the familiar spiciness associated with the OpusX line but seemed to have a bit more depth than some of the smaller ones...overall, a really enjoyable smoke.

not only is it cool that you (the Colonel) live in Tombstone, but you also have the guitarist from one of my favorite bands as your avitar.

Well boys, I just finished a Don Francisco Preferedo from a roller who is a good friend of mine in East Brunswick NJ. An excellent smoke from a very fine company.

Yesterday morning I had a Peterson Torpedo. Wow, it was a great stick. This brand is underrrated and well worth the recently discounted prices. Lots of full flavors with coffee bean and leather and lots of complexity.
