What Did You Smoke Today

Never knew this section was here..........

Had a AVO Legacy LE last night, and smoking a Hoyo de Monterrey Excaliber Maduro #2 as I type. The Excaliber has long been my favorite.

Last night I smoked a Camacho Havana Churchill I'd had laying around for a good while- probably close to a year. That thing was fantastic- it was easily the most I've seen a cigar improve in a year or so of aging. Usually I tend to avoid the Havana line in favor of the Corojo when I feel like smoking a Camacho, which of course if why this one sat around for so long. I think I need to get a much larger humi so I can start aging sticks more.

i LOVE those things. i dont let em sit around long enough to age. i know i should. ill give it a try.

About 72° and heavy rain now. Gonna put on the oilskin duster, and head off to Big Nose Kate's Saloon. Taking a Monte 2 along.

i smoked a 5 Vegas Classic. It was very fresh. I think because of the freshness it had a very NUTMEG taste to it. anyone else ever get that out of these?

I just finished an Onyx belicoso box pressed maduro that Rob sent me. What a great smoke!! Thank you brother!!!

RP old world reserve today, I love that its finally getting into the 60's everyday so I can smoke again.

Had the Graycliff vintage 99 this afternoon on a walk with the wife and kids. These just keep getting better and better. Hope cigar.com runs a special on these again.

smoked my first RP Fusion today. started off a little harsh but half way in it was like a totally different smoke. real mellow and earthy tasting. will let the others age awhile before trying another.

Went to a local cigar friendly tavern last night for the first time. Took an Emerald Preferido along and enjoyed that thing until my fingers burned. Don't know if it's worth the $15 I paid but still a great smoke.

Today I smoked a Tatuaje Noella after lunch and right now I am a happy guy. I'm smoking a Pepin Black Torpedo while sitting outside on the laptop in sixty degree weather. The sky is clear and I can see the stars. Spring may finally be here.

Good times for sure.

Smoked a Padron 1964 Anniversary Diplomatico (Natural wrapper) while watching the Ohio State-Memphis game today. Man, what a great cigar! Also smoked an Oliva Serie G Maduro Torpedo. After the Padron, very few cigars would have matched it, but the Oliva was still pretty tasty.

Last night, I had an Opus xXx. Awesome!

I'm getting lazy on my posts. Friday I started out with a CAO Brazilia Piranha. These have always been consistent for me. I finished off the day with a Padron 1926 No. 35 in a natural wrapper. I think I enjoy the maduro version a little bit better, but it was still an excellent cigar. I smoked both cigars down to the nub of course.

I'm smoking a Perdomo Cab series Cameroon. Its a pleasant smoke nothing special but not bad either. The wrapper is very fragile so I might have some humidity issues going on in the humi it came from.

Beautiful day here in Alabama. 84F with a nice breeze here on the porch. Eli is behaving himself the boys are playing far enough away where the sound of them is nice and the girls are with mom at a baby shower.

I preached out of Isaiah 45 today with a large crowd to make my points too.

To celebrate, I smoked a La Aurora Preferido Gold. Needed to work on the burn a bit, but it smoked very nicely. A little stingy on the actual smoke, but the flavor and smell were very good!
