What Did You Smoke Today

Yup, Padrons are very very well rolled cigars. I have not ever had one that had any burn or draw issues. But I will only smoke their maduro cigars. I a not a fan of any of their natural stuff; just not for me.

Today I had a Padron from HiTide.....the loosest, easiest drawing, best "smoked itself" cigar yet, fantastic taste....is that a normal thing to have such an easy draw on the padrons?

HiTide says it was a Padron 2000 Natural.

Had an RP Sungrown Torpedo last night that's been aging for maybe 4-6mos in my humi. Quite a nice cigar, but I still like the OSG more.

Today was a 5 Vegas Day, started with a 5 Vegas Classic, moved on to a 5 Vegas 'A', then had a 5 Vegas Gold, and later on the way to the doctor (fiance was with me), I had a 5 Vegas Classic Torpedo...and then I heard one of the greatest things I have ever heard.....my fiance said...

"I kinda like the smell of that one...which one is that?

 :hypercolor:   :hearseespeak:  :sm_angel:

I had a JR Ultimate Toro earlier. Tonight, while sitting outside by the fire, I'll have a Sancho Panza Belicoso.

Halloween.....had a K. Hansotia Symphony, about 3 years aged, and just wonderful. Later had an Indian Tabac Limited Reserve, also very good...I can just taste the aging potential in that smoke. Later had 5 Vegas 'A', but the ending was special....and Indian Tabac Super Fuente Maduro for the Trick or Treating. Lasted me just over 1.25 hours, in the robusto or toro size...cant remember, but an outside breeze was going, and it was cool, no cracking, burned very even. I'm thinking Hatchetman's first cigar review is in the near future.

Mmmm... love those Partaga black perrydoyle. The bravo really hits the mark for me.

Today was only a 1 cigar day, but a good one. 5V Limitada '06 with a Dinkelaker and then a Guiness. I've got to admit the Dinkelacker was a much better beer. I'll definitely get more of them. The 5V has been aging in my humi for about 6 months now and was much better than the first one I had. I've had a few in between but it's been maybe 2 months since the last and the extra aging has really improved it.

I'm at the point now where I have a bunch of cigar that have rest 6-8 months in my humi and now I don't want to smoke the fresh ones. Time to stock up again so I can keep it smoking the older ones as well as letting some get to the 1 year mark. As they saying goes, patience is a virtue.

I just returned from walking the dogs. While venturing through town, I enjoyed a Sancho Panza Belicoso.

More later, I'm sure.

Tatuaje Havana IV (not as good as the regular Tatuaje imo) and just finished an Oliva Master Blends (the very first series). It was a good cigar but not as full bodied as the 3. I would say I like the 2 & 3 better, but not sure which is best. I smoke the 2 sparingly as they are just about impossible to find. Something about the kick of the 3 that I really like alot, especially with a strong brew.

I smoked a R&J Bully tonight. I dunno if it was just me or the cigar was too dry but it was kinda tasteless or not even that it was kind of just tasted like smoke. I hope that when i place my next order which will contain mostly excalibur's and some RP taste much better then the R&Js i got now and the onxy's. Over all the smoke was nice towards the end, nothing great but a nice little treat. I can only smoke outside here at school so this was one of the last nights I will get to smoke before its too cold for me =( good news tho for my cigars I am ordering they will get to age and I will have a nice treat for the spring and summer =D

Anyone smoke the AB MAXX? what do you guys think of them?

Smoked a 2007 Vegas 5 Limitada and a La Aurora 100 Anos Corona while watching the Bama/LSU game. The 5 Vegas was beautiful. Loads of flavor and very complex - a must try! I was disappointed with the La Aurora. usually love this smoke, but uneven burn throughtout and constantly having to relight had me as upset as Bama blowing the game in the last 3 minutes. Had a Oliva Series V lancero this morning on a walk with the dog- great cigar.
