What Did You Smoke Today

Anyone smoke the AB MAXX? what do you guys think of them?

The Maxx is similar to the Punch Gran Puro, earthy taste, but with a slight acidity on the smoke, keeping the mouth moist. It also has a slightly minty finish...i enjoy it. Complex taste on the palete, and satisfying. My avatar to the left is me smoking a Maxx Freak...

Started the afternoon with one of those Gurkha Barber Poles. Nice mild, woodsy flavors. Great early afternoon smoke. As long as the cigar was, it only lasted 90 minutes, which was surprising since I am a slow smoker.

After I cut the lawn (for hopefully the last time this year), I smoked a Tatuaje Regios. Good cigar, but it got bitter really easily if I smoked quickly (which I needed to, since LSU was coming on).

After LSU finally decided that they in fact wanted to win and did so, I "celebrated" with a Serie V Lancero and some Bookers. It would have been more of a celebration if we'd have put them away early like we should have.

Today, lots of great NFL football and cigars to smoke at the B&M. I can't wait!

Yesterday I smoked a Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion #4 in celebration of the Buckeyes' victory. Today I'm smoking my very last Opus X, a robusto size.

To celebrate the Patriots' victory I'm smoking an Ashton VSG Corona Gorda...wonderful spice, leather, and cedar flavors.

Tonight I smoked a Camacho Triple Maduro. I picked it up yesterday at the local B&M. Pretty full smoke for me. In fact, it brought tears to my eyes by exhaling thru my nose. May try one again sometime. The reality is, I can almost buy two CAO MX2 for one of these.........

Good day today.

Started the day with a Padron 1926 Number 1 Natural. That thing had a few months of age on it, and it was just packed with flavors. Chocolate, coffee, etc...just great.

Followed that up with a Fuente Anejo Shark from December 2005. Time has done this thing well. It's gone from great to outstanding. Subtle sweetness, but again full of flavor.

After that, smoked a Tatuaje Regios. I would have thought that after the first two, I would have lost something in the flavors of this one. I was wrong. Started off with a good bit of pepper and spice, and mellowed out slightly into another fantastic cigar. I was watching football with a friend of mine who works at the B&M and it was his first Tatuaje. So now, I have someone else to nag the owners to get these.

Today I had an Indian Tabac Limited Reserve, a very balanced, smooth and interesting spice to it...I can't pinpoint the flavors on this one, gonna need to smoke some more (jeez...what a pity..). Also had a 5 Vegas Classic Torpedo.

I have a Don Lino Africa Belicoso. It's been sitting since I last went to Gloucester St. Cigars, about two or three years ago.

I just had a Gurka Regent in the Toro size. Mighty fine smoke. It has rested in the humi for over a year and mellowed out just fine.
I had one last yr. when I bought 10 of these, didn't care to much for them then. But now after a yr. a very very good smoke after a heavy dinner.

Last night I had a Tatuaje Havana VI and this afternoon after lunch had a Cusano 18 robusto.

Today I had a 5 Vegas Gold, RP Edge Maduro, and an Indan Tabac Super Fuerte Natural. All 3...very good....oh and I started the day with a Camacho 1962 Perfecto (4.5 x 50), a very good short smoke that mandates a review soon.

Last Night I had an Ashton ESG for my birthday. The girls were gone and it was me, my dogs and the lastest Handgunner. ooooh ya! :D
Several of the ratings I read rated this stick as robust but I found it to be mild with a hint of spice and a good finish. Jeff at C.com hooked me up.

Nothing tonight. I started a med on Monday, it's just starting to kick in. I can't stay awake for a glass of Pepsi, never mind a good cigar.

wowza

Olivia Serie V double robusto. GEROGEOUS! Such a beautiful looking beautifully built cigar. Still need to smoke another before I try to fully review it. Good draw and was beyond smooth for a full body. I'm glad I watched that last ccom radio/video and snagged 2 with my last order.

Nothing last night!

I'll be making up for that tonight though! Maybe 2 laps around the subdivision with the dogs!
