What Did You Smoke Today

i had a joya de nic. celebracion churchill yesterday...
i was really saucy at the time, but as far as i can recall, it was tasty

my buddy had a comacho... i guess it was a little to manly for him, he had to dip out half way... :bigpuke:

Smoka and I hit the lynx today. So crowded it took over an hour to get bast the first 3 holes. I hate that. But the cigars were nice.

Diploma and a Papa Bruce Lee :D

Papa Bruce Lee...Papa Bruce Lee...Papa Bruce Lee, if I don't get to try one of these soon...I'm gonna cry

wish i had one of those today... haven't smoked anything yet and probably won't. Might smoke my pipe so i can stay inside. to hot to smoke outdoors today.

I feel for you bildo. I just got off the phone with some friends at the Yankees - Mets game and they said between the heat and humidity they are finding it hard to breathe. As for me, I have the A/C cranked up, the air purifier on high, and so far I've put a CAO Extreme Belicoso and a Diploma in my ashtray.

Hey guys, haven't had any time to smoke cigars since I started working at the restaurant (I usually smoke at night and since I only work nights, well yeah). After tomorrow, I finally have an extended break of 3 days off.

I am planning to smoke a Padron 1964 Imperial, a Cuban Montecristo #2, a Padron 3000, and a Gran Habano #5. And probably a few others throughout these 3 days.

A diploma around lunch time. I must say I strugled to keep it lit :?

I have found another interesting catch. It seems the ones being distributed from 2004 have a dark chocolate band and a slightly darker wrapper. Great flavor. Last years cigar bands were more of a milk chocolate brown and the release before that seemed to have an almost orange color. I looked in my diploma box and figured it out since I just got some new ones. It seems I actually have some from each release.

On my way to a couple smokeshops that were suggested by coworkers I had a Sauza Don Cenobio thats been sitting around a couple weeks (been waiting for my new cutter as it is a torpedo) and an RP Edge. Both were delicious. I'm comparing the edge in my head to diplomas and thinking now I might just have to light up a diploma for a difinitive comparison.

Only been smoking cigars for about 3 months, so I'm still a newbie, but I have really enjoyed the Camacho line. I've had 3 or 4 Corojo, and Corojo dark. Wonderful cigars!!! I'm afraid to try a Diploma, for fear I'll go broke, feeding my "habit"!!! Had a Corojo yesterday, and tried to come up with a reason not to buy a box, of course there isn't any, sooooo......I'm really hooked now aren't I?

If you ever come up with an excuse not to buy a box Hoppy let me know, I'm still searching

Tonight I had a Sancho Panza Belicosos. Not bad, but seemed too mild for me.

Ramon Allones Maestro - Good draw, good amount of smoke. Taste was a little bland to me. Aroma was ok.

dbrad, did you know that cigar is rolled with a dominican wrapper. Not a great cigar but an interesting statistic since dominican wrapper is very rare. Other popular dominican wrapper cigars are OpusX, Litto Gomes Diaz, La Aurora 100 Anos. Again I am not a big ramon allones fan but I love domincan wrapper. Few people realize the Ramon has one.

This morning I had a Cusano C10. I'll be having more of these in the morning. Not too mild that it's tasteless or boring. But strong enough to keep me interested. Wanted to smoke it down to a nub, but it started raining on me.

Good info Mac. I think that I had probably read that somewhere Mac, but with all the other junk that goes through my head (you can tell that by some of my posts), I don't keep up with information that is interesting like I should.

I had a CAO Extreme Belicoso on the ride home today. In 45 minutes I didn't have to tip it once. Good burn, draw was a little tight, lots of smoke, good aroma, flavors of chocolate, leather, pepper, spicey.

CAO MX2 when business was dead. Very nice with some sweetness to it. Expected a real full bodied cigar and looked forward to that but was still was not disappointed. Normally I can smoke a super belicoso like that in an hour or hour and a half. But that stick was just almost neverending. Puffed on that about two hours it seemed and still only smoked two thirds.

Just had a Litto Gomez Diez Chisel. Draw was too loose for my liking and the wrapper hardly burned at all. Good flavor and aroma, but I was somewhat disappointed overall. Maybe it's just because I had a crappy day and I'm tired and feel crappy all around. I dunno. I only smoked about two thirds of it. I'd like to give these another try.

Just put down the Rare Corojo El Doble. Considering the thickness, the draw was very good. Slightly uneven burn, but easily held a 2" ash. The large ring gauge contributed to a very cool smoke. It had a rich aroma and taste which left a nice tingle on my tongue.
