the pd had great flavor, but just wouldnt burn well at all and draw was a bit firm- pretty much ruined it for me unfortunately as it would have been fantastic...
the sol cubano was an excellent mild, creamy, nutty smoke...

Last night I had a Partagas at the local smoke shop. They had Benji Menendez there to do a tasting. Very smooth and tasty! :lol: Tonight I had one of the freebies from Gispert while taking the dog for a walk.. :shock:
I just smoked the Sol Cubano Sumatra last night that Kelvin sent me. So delicious!

My first and only Acid was a Kuba Kuba, I think it took about three draws and I let it go out and swore I would never waste my time or money on another Acid product. Now the Champagne torpedo is a different story, CorojoBrad was nice enough to send me one as part of my PIF, nice change up for me seeing as I like the medium to fuller cigars.

CAO MX2. Does anybody know when these are supposed to be rereleased in quantity? My shop's owner practically had to beat the box this one came out of from the distributer. I was hoping the rep would deliver some boxes on the 14th at the CAO event there but have been told that's a fantasy.
Ashton Heritage Puro Sol Churchill. Very nice smoke. Immediate flavor of Coffee and chocolate. Progressed to flavors of spice and cedar. Very white ash and a firm draw. I will be buying more of these. Very mild smoke too.

Lost in translation
Yesterday, a CAO Brazilia Cariocas, very dark, but somewhat one demensional. Not as enjoyable as they usually are.
Short Story, always a treat. Very creamy and wonderful flavours. Nut, allspice, toast. Really good.

Yesterday I only managed one cigar since I was still feeling a little under the weather: SCDLH La Punta. It tasted like cocoa and had a creamy undertone.
This morning I had a Short Story with my coffee which really hit the spot.
Right now I'm about to light up cigar "A" from my trade with Cybrus and I'm finally going to watch all of this season's Sopranos episodes (at least the ones that have aired so far

).I had a Diploma, HOLY *hit, this thing almost killed me at the beginning. I ate a great meal and sat down with this fellow, started out quite harsh, enough to make my eyes water. I was not sure if I could handle it, by the 10 minute mark, nice smoke, almost a leather taste to a subtle spiciness. i liked this sucker, although I could feel my stomach the whole time
