What Happened to Cigar Wise? . . .

No CC I am not playing stupid. I know what your friends did for you and it was very generious and kind hearted.
The same people can turn on someone and be very unkind for little or no provacation.
I do not condone what has happened. It is criminal and deserves to be punished. I hope whoever did what they did gets found.
I do enjoy posting on CW and hope to continue to do so at some in the future. Even though my feelings are different than yours.
 
Actually, this happened yesterday afternoon, from what one said here. I didn't discover it until shortly after midnight. That means tomorrow will be, . . .

Riddle me this, BigTom. Does your description ,and I'm "ass-suming" that you referring to the HCF, sound that much different than the rest of the world?

You are loved, whether in touch or out, although in touch is always better. I'm experiencing a long period of "out of touch" with many folks myself. Not desirable, but life happens.
 
Bloofington, thank you for the kind words re the HCF. It's been a long time that you and I have perused the cigar boards together. We've had an up and down or two, but you've always had my respect. Much appreciate the thoughts, my friend.

Yes, CigarWise was hacked. We will find out how and by whom. Trust me. It's crimimal activity and should be treated as such. Disagreements amounting to pixels on a screen is one thing. THEFT and DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY is quite another.

As CastleCrest said, the site will be up and running soon and will be back to its full glory. Thanks to the members here who post there for their patience.

I feel like I missed out on something here. I JUST JOINED cigar wise only a few days ago but did not post anything. I didn't spend much time there, but I wish I had.

while the forum was down, in many a town.
They were given respite from AmBack.
