:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

I got the next 13 hours to kill while watching a Gunsmoke Marathon. May as well go with a Monte "A".

Good Morning all you fine cigar smokers & you dog rocket smokers also ! I feel so good this morning , Mike is out of the hospital & in a Rehab clinic , he still has the feeding tube into his stomach but the trache is capped & he is starting to talk a little, still a bit confused, but then he allways was a little hahahah, The nurse asked him who I was when I was visiting , he said My Good friend Vince , she said good friends are hard to come by, he said I know that look what I am stuck with ! hahaha, the sence of humor is still strong & I want to thank you all for your well wishes & prayers for him. He still has a long way to go but the good part is he is still on the green side of the grass & not the root side !
I was at a cigar tasting yesterday at Lords tobacco In New Willmington Pa , had a great time , a few of the fellow Cigar crawlers were there & we rated 3 nice smokes , I didnt hang out till the end to see what the totals were , but I did enjoy 2 of the 3 cigars & the 3ed was just ok, , BUT I started the day with a Don carlos 33 as always & when Bob Got here to go to the tasting we had a Mug O Joe & an Opus X Bellicoso( about 4 Years in the Humi ) , & on the way up a fine Cuban Jose Piedro Corona , yes it is a cut filler but it has a wonderful taste & aroma , , so anything we smoked after that would be a let down , so to clear the taste buds there were 2 big Pots of Chili, One Mild & one HOT , Habbanarrro HOT !, Now that did make my nose run & eyes water but it had a Great taste , well there was some Home made Bread to help ease the sting, a few cups of coffee later & did light up the Savanelli Dbl.Corona , I like the brand & have a few dozen sticks stashed in a few places , but this just seamd lack luster , maybe all the hot food & the 3 cigars I had had all ready that day . & to top it off I got a REALLY BAD burn, it was a good ligt but after a few puffs it went up on side like it had been dipped in Lighter fluid , maybe that was the reason for the poor taste, just didnt get the blend to burn together , next up on the taste test was a Indian Tobac Boxer Natural wrap, , I am a Big Fan of Rocky Patel so I was looking Fwd. to this one, I have a box of the maduros inmy Humi & have never had the natural so this was going to be a treat to my taste buds , it was good but I was not impressed with the taste, granted it was the 5th cigar of the day but I am not a stranger to taste testing cigars , coffee , or any food for that matter, I didnt get up to 417 pounds by eating celery & drinking water , but again I was not impressed, so I went back for a small scoop of the HOT chili & a slice of bread, a cup of coffee & a sip of home made Beer, a Raspberry Wheat beer that was verrrrrrry tasty , well back to the cigars , the last cigar to taste was a Jamicia Gold Roho ( red Gold ??? ) well I havent had many of them since the refourmulation , used to smoke the Park Lane at times & did like them , but this was a small Lonsdale , but not a corona , or maybe a long corona , nice & firm in the hand & good weight for its size, a solid cigar, & was in my opinion the best of the 3 & my liest favorite brand of the test , well before the test & not after , I dont know how the voting went BUT this one was MY pick of the 3 , I did have a Joya de Nicarauga torp on the way Home , after all it is a 45 minute drive , with coffee it was quick & easy hahahaha ( the drive ) then last night MY wife & I went for our Saturday Night cigar ride & I had # 8 for the day a Big long 8.5 x 52 dog rocket bundle cigar with no band, by this time I didnt care what it was like , but it did treat me to so fine flavor , even after all the hot food, coffee & 7 cigars before it , MY taste buds must be tired this morning , they didnt get a chance to regroup, untill I hit them with a plate of tofu & spinich for breakfast this morning & a Don Carlos III & big mug of Kenya AA, I have a pot of Kona on stand by for after lunch , it is set to start brewing at 12:35. I have a Cuban Monte #1 ready for my Sunday Afternoon Cigar & a Johnny Walker Green, for my WEEEE DRAM today , Ahhh Yes it is good to be King ! hahaha
Barb had a bad food day Friday, I picked up some fish on the way home & we ate as soon as I got in the door, she didnt get very far & up it came, so Saturday she just had cheese & crackers, this weight loss operation is a lot tuffer on her than it was on me , so today I am not going to cook anything big, maybe I will make some Jello , OH BOY JELLO hahahaha ! I hate to make Pork Chops if she isnt up to par , maybe Tuesday Or Wed. this week she will be up for something like that I HOPE!!
Monday is the First day of School here, the grandsons are looking Fwd to it (NOT) but there Mother is , she will be running the computer lab at their school again this year , she got a 25 cent an hour raise , not great But not bad, nothing like the 16% raise our OVER PAID STATE REPS & SENATE VOTED THEM SELVES in the middle of the night last month , no discussion on the floor, just bring it out of committee at 2 am , & vote before anyone has the time to fight it BINGO ,a Pay raise for the Judges & state reps & senators (STATE) , now if it gets challenged in the coart, the judge will not cut his own pay raise will he ! hahaha PA the land of Taxes ~~~~ What this state needs is a Tax revolt , & come November we will remember who voted for & took the raise , VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE !, I like my local state rep Mike Veon, he is a cigar smoker & did come to a few of or National Blues shows we had at different places here in the county , No we didnt have BB King , just didnt have the cash to pay him , but we did have Melvin Taylor, Kenny Neal, Tinsley Ellis,& a lot more , 66 shows in 6 years But I digress , Vote allm the Pay grabbers out of office !!
we got a break in the weather, no more 90+ days , in fact I was able to turn off the A/C a few days ago , it has been running since the end of may hahaha, Dammm I hate to see the electric bill hahahaha !
well after 8 cigars yesterday I think I will cut back a bit today, limit my self to 3 or 4 well maybe 5 if there small hahahaha ! one DC III down , & a monte for after lunch, who knows a what I might find in the deep regions of the cigar stash hahaha have a great Sunday
Enjoy, Vince

Again this week, a major topic of discussion in the islands was the active storm season and Hurricane Katrina. It is always deceptive to sit outside in sunshine with light trade winds blowing and think about huge angry storms.

I have been trying to wrap up biz the last week or so since I will be joining my wife and daughters at my in-laws farm in France; leaving this Wednesday morning (trying to sneak out between storm fronts). Judging from the number and amounts of the bills that are flowing in, courtesy of Le Madame (Adrienne, my wife), I had better get there soon or we will be reduced to selling bananas to tourists and I will be smoking factory seconds from Jamaica or from behind the McDonalds in old San Juan, Puerto Rico. My wife has the same philosophy as Bo Derek about spending money: "Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping."

Along with a double espresso, this morning I fired up a El Rey del Mundo Tainos. This is a light and fresh cigar (Churchill) that burns very well and IMO is anideal morning smoke. I would not smoke this after after eating.

The stick tasted of mild honey and had a nice floral aroma with notes of nuttiness in the middle growing into flavors of cocoa and espresso towards the end of the smoke. IMO it might be too subtle to be appreciated in comparison with other sticks that have a stronger flavor and is not a good smoke after a heavy meal.

Later on with biz concluded, we headed into Old Nassau where some of the better cigar sellers are located. Of course, the good bars are for some reason located in the same locale (imagine that). These are cigar establishments and saloons that have been around for a century or more, (tourists seldom frequent them) and are owned by grumpy old men who probably don’t need the money as much as they need something to do.

We stopped in late afternoon and had a glass of 100 year old Grand Marnier and some very fine Garuda Blend coffee. Garuda beans originate in Oceania and Indonesia. Some of this coffee is produced in the "natural" or dry method, providing full body and nutty, earthy flavors; other beans are "washed," which brings acidity and a more refined flavor to the blend. It is named for the great bird that carries the Hindu god Vishnu, guardian of the world.

I think we were the only folks in the establishment and the owner, whom we both knew, joined us. Over the years I’ve had friends point out that I seem to spend a lot of time in bars (I always add that when Le Madame is around that is certainly not the case!). I think Dean Martin said it best: "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They wake up in the morning and that's the best they're going to feel all day.”

Since the afternoon was getting on we torched Bolivar Coronas Gigantes. These are very large smokes and are well constructed. They are, what I would call, a handsome cigar; silky and smooth to the touch and have strong flavors. They begin spicy and mix with chocolate, wood and leather that combine to form an earthy quality that IMO is the trademark expected of Cuban cigars. A very full bodied smoke.

It will be a long flight to Europe, but I will enjoy being with the family and tasting this year’s Fall harvest. No smoking on the plane (life’s not fair) but my father in-law will make up for that. I close with a quote I often tell others by George Burns (Adrienne says she will have it embroidered on a t-shirt and make me wear it on Christmas some year):

"Do you know what it means to come home at night to a woman who will give you a little love, a little affection, a little tenderness? It means you're in the wrong house, that's what it means."

P.S. Vince - What a great riff you posted this weekend.

Rory - Thank you for the kind words, but Vince and Bloofington, no matter what they say, are the masters of this thread.

Wow, what a post, some of my all-time favorites!!! Dean Martin, George Burns, 100 year old Gran Marnier, and oh, those cigars! Does Cian have a good life, or what? As for me being a master, I'll defer to Vince. I might be the Master of The Maroons, a/k/a The Great Dumboni, but not much else.

I am not a master of much, just fishing, when I put the bait on the hook, then I am the Master bater hahahahaha !! Enjoy, Vince

Yes I know it is Monday night & this is the Sunday Morning Thread BUT I just had to post this !!!
Since My gastric by Pass I have been having a lot of "trouble" with the good old BM, well they are dew & far between, since I am not eating near as much & the texture of the food has been some what softer than I had had before , well less in , less out, so if you have had enough of the story stop reading now & move on , BUT it gets a lot better !! you have been warned !!!!!

Ok , you asked for the Rest of the story ! here it is ,
for the past few months I have been Plugging the toilet every few days , & it has been getting worse as time has gone by, a few weeks ago it got reallllly bad, clogged & it took 2 hours of Plunging to break it loose , well last wed. I had to go buy a snake, after 4 hours of plunging & still nothing was flowing, so I get the snake, , after 1.5 hours of cranking it breaks free, , Flush, well I need to swab down the entire floor & walls , & I am beat all the way down to my soxs , Sunday, I plug it again, an other hour of the snake , plunging & bailing the toilet , I am beat, & sick of the BS, almost scared to use the can knowing it will be a ton of work after, well I call a plumer, to come clean out the line, & give me a break , 90 bucks an hour , but it needs done so I say ok , do it , I explain my problem, he said he has a Super Flush Toilet with a neck that will flush 18 golf balls at one time 10year garrentee on parts & labor , made by American Standard will NEVER CLOG , & uses 1.6 gallons of water per flush, NEVER NEEDS PLUNGED< has one on the truck, $550.00 installed, with a new seat & supply line, elongated bowl & comfort height, ( it sits about 2 inches higher than a standard Toilet )some people call them handicapped equipment with out the side rails , , now he is going to charge me 3 hours to snake the line , pull the old pot & install a new wax ring, well it might just plug up again next BM, so I would be back plunging again, But for just a few bucks More , NO PLUNGE , so I am now the Proud owner of a new SUPER FLUSH Toilet, "THE COMMANDER" , if I can plug it , he will come over himself & clear the line, for 10 years , No questions asked, , I dont think any toilet that can swallow 18 golf balls at one time but if any thing can do it , this one will, so eat a lot of beans & hard boiled eggs, cabbage & drink a lot of Beer, bring your own reading material, & give it a try hahahaha
Enjoy, Vince

You can buy and install it yourself for half what you paid that guy. I have one on order from Lowes. Now I need to fond a couple of dozen old golf balls.
I know how to solve part of your problem. It seems that the artifical sweeteners (Alcohol Sugars) are diuretic. Go to the candy store and buy a couple of pounds of sugar free jelly bellys, a couple of 2 l bottles of diet Dr Pepper and eat and drink your problem away. Believe me it works. The sugar free chocolote works even better.

Tom

I havent been eating anything with artificial sweetners , alergic to aspertaime, dont like diet soda of any kind, cant do the carbonation, ( that means NO BEER DAMMMMM IT ) & install it my self hahahahaha, what part of the chefs knife do you use to install a toilet ???? , tools like wrenches .paint brushes & shovels dont fit in my hand ! hahaha Enjoy, Vince

Well here we are an other Sunday Morning, Sept.4,2005, were did the summer go? , I have been very busy this week, running back & forth to the hospital to visit Mike, he is in a rehab hospital in Pittsburgh, on the South side, I must go past 2 cigar shops to get there , dammm I hate that hahahaha, , well I started to collect the bands from the Zino Platnum Septer Series, when I get 15 I can send them in for a nice pocket knife with a cigar cutter , I have 13 or 14 now , just a few to go, , like I need an other pocket knife or one more cuigar cutter hahaha, well its free & the cigars are great, I have been smoking the Grand Master , & the low rider, both are fine smokes & match well with Vineeese Roast Gavilia coffee & a fine single malt, well I skip the scotch when I am driving, , Might hit a bump & spill it !!!!, , I am still starting the day with a Don Carlos III , but if the Low Rider didnt cost 12 bucks I might switch to one of them in the morning & have the Grand Master on the way to the hospital to visit Mike, he still cant swallow & is being fed by a tube into his stomach, but his sence of smell is so good, he told me I had garlic & coffe with my cigar , how he could tell I had garlic after I used Scope mouth wash , well lets just say he has a Nose made to pick up aromas , I did have tofu & garlic , for lunch before I went to see him on Thursday, the Cigar & coffee are a given, never do I go any place in the car with out a cup & a cigar, well he was aware of the aroma even after the Scope !! it is a tuff life for him, he always has been so active, Hunting, Shooting, golfing , a high school basketball ref, & now he cant hold his head up for a long peroid of time , it is so sad. BUT he is still alive & has a sence of humor about the whole thing. , his priest was just forced to resign, seams like he was being a little to friendly with the alter boys , so what else is new in the Catholic Church ?? I dont go to visit on the weekends he gets a lot of company so I only go during the week when every one else is working.
Yesterday was a good day for me, ( Saturday ) , I started the day with an egg & tofu, & a Pot of Indian Malabar Monsoon Coffee & my DC III, went to New castle Pa for a POD Cast, a radio show about cigars broadcast on the internet & down loadable to your I Pod , when it gets editited I will give you all the adress , I was one of the commontaters on the cigar tasting , & the cigar was a GrandMaster , how lucky for me, I smoked one on the way there !!! , got an other one to smoke for the show !! damm how lucky can you get? well I did what needed done there & had a Low Rider on the way home, , stopped at the farmers market, picked up some fresh veggies & grilled them with a little salt & olive oil, , Great supper. ! , with Gas at $3.19 a gallon Barb & I passed on the Saturday Cigar ride , we did make some coffee & sat on the back deck , I lit up a 5 year old Opus X, Dbl.Corona , I didnt know I even had a 5 year old Opus, but the date on the sticker was May 2000, got it for my Birthday & it just got burried in the humi , lucky me, it was so smoooooth & creamy, I didnt think it was an Opus, so mild & smooth but the flavor was unmistakable , great depth & complexity, it stood up to the Macallen cask strengh with out any problem!, Makes me wish I had not sold the 4 unopened boxes I had before the By pass, , well at the time it was the thing to do, now I could kick my self in the ass for selling them!!
I have some fresh picked green beans & some thick cut bacon to make today for supper, maybe a chicken breast to go with them, the weight is down to 245 ! & still going down, it is a lot slower now but still going in the right direction.
I am working on a small pot of Kona right now dammm this is great with a DC III ! ~ My brother is supposed to stop here this afternoon for a Cuban Monte #1 but who knows if he will show up, he is never where he is supposed to be !, just like a little brother !!!!
I am sure you all have been watching the tragidity in New Orleans ,forgive me while I rant a bit~~~ IF you are so stupid to shoot at a rescure hellocopter , you deserive to get shot back at ! Dammm how stupid can you be?? , when the WTC was hit people pulled together, but the ASSHOLES in New Orleans need to get there ducks in a row & stop , take a deep breath, smoke a joint or 2 & mellow ot, stay away from the coke & the crack & HELP them selves , My heart goes out to the majority of the people but the THUGS need to be SHOT ! ASAP !!!!, End of the rant Thank you !
Barb has lost 55 pounds so far , Tuesday is her next time on the scale, Protien is missing in both our diets, we both need to get on the stick & start the protein drinks , she is noticing a lot of her hair falling out , I had the same problem at 3 months after the big cut , . we should get 60 grams of Protien a day ( or more ) & as close as I can figure we are getting less than 50.
The weather has been Great the past few days high 70's low 80's durning the day with low humidity, mid 50's at night , sleeping with a window open a little chilly in the morning but great sleeping, more of the sme the rest of the week, havent had to have the A/C on since the rain stopped Thursday Morning,, we got the Tail end of the Hurricane then.
I hope you all have a great labor day holiday , the last picnic of the summer, the pools will be closing & soon it will be time to stop cutting grass & start shoveling snow ( well for some of us BUT not Cian , Lucky Bastard hahaha ) , BUT he has had a few storms to weathewr & we didnt , so I guess it all biols down to just take what Mother nature gives you , & enjoy the ride . Have a good weekend , Enjoy, Vince

That's interesting, the copters flying in, Navy ships on the way, doctors, EMT's, all kinds of help coming in to the Astrodome and all over New Orleans, Mississippi and Alabama to lend a hand.

Are you telling me that people are needed to deliver a little "urban mental health medicine" down there?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder how much FEMA is paying for folks delivering 500 pounds of marijuana?

BEEEEEEEEP, BEEEEEEEEEEP, BEEEEEEEEEP!!!

Okay, okay, just keep your shirt on, you're next in line. Where's your truck's origination point, Sir?

New York City, Colonel.

Okay, pull it in there, on the right. According to my checklist, you should be hauling chicken soup, diapers, canned sardines, pancake mix, Similac and bottled water, right?

Duuuuuuhhhhhhh, no sir, this is the ummmmmm, . . .

Ganja Delivery!!!!

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :rotflmao:

  :bolt:

Vince, did you say that all in one breath?? Whew!!

Good to see you and the bride keeping healthy. Seems like Mike is doing well also.

Today, I started with a Cusano 18 Robusto while sitting with the Huskies, Wile E. and Coyote at the local dog park. Later, maybe a Dominicana Double Ligero Chisle. Nice and mild, Bloof!!! You should get a box!!! HA!!

After leaving the firm this morning, on a beautiful, breezy, dare I say, "cool" late summer morning, I smoked a St. Luis Rey Habano, about a corona size. I do think this is one of the cigars that axegod75 sent me. I had it outside Grand Central Terminal, waiting for the departure time for my train to take me back home here. It was lit at 0855 hours, outside the building where I work, and I took the last puff at 0933 hours, just before heading into the terminal to board my train. 38 minutes of strong flavor and pure power.

MAN, did that little Habano kick my ASSSSSSS!!!! It was of course, delicious, and very, very powerful. Thanks to axegod75, one out of a very nice package he recently sent me.

Yeah, Vince does sound like it's all in one breath, doesn't he. I sometimes have to read his posts four times just to know what he said. Lord, he was born a ramblin' man. :cryinlaugh:

I had a lot of things to do this morning before I go into work at three so didn't have much time for a cigar. I did smoke a Partagas black label Bravo. This ia a very good short, strong cigar. It had a great aroma and a good draw, but the burn was inconsistent. Maybe I will order a box for days like this.

I made the Trans-Atlantic crossing uneventfully and had no problems making train connections to the Loire Valley. It is a 45-minute trip from the Roissy Station in Paris to Tours, hence to the Valley. Being a long time traveler, I come prepared. I fished an H. Upmann No. 4 out of my portable humidor. Late Summer weather in Europe can be unpredictable but that day in particular was slightly overcast and since I was seated at a small café with a Cinzano umbrella overhead (and not getting rained on, which can spoil smokes and your day), a small pot of Italian Roast which I enjoyed with the No. 4.

Italian Roast is usually a darker roast and develops an intense, full-bodied flavor from the blend of Pacific and Latin American coffees. The aroma is balanced and complex, and the beans glisten with natural oils. The name "Italian Roast" comes from a dark roasting style common in southern Italy (coffees in northern Italy are usually lighter). The No. 4 IMO is a smoke with notes of toffee, coffee and chocolate that are quite noticeable in the second half. It has a strong and clean tobacco taste, characteristic of H. Uppman. Great with coffee on a late summer day when you are people watching (in my case all the miniskirts, halter tops and shorts flitting by my observation post), and lasts me about 30-40 minutes.

My wife, daughters, in-laws and apparently whomever they could find met me at the train in Poitou Charentes, which is in the southern part of the valley. We rode back in my father in-law’s Citroen followed by an old Mercedes Benz (now Daimler Benz). As I have said before, the French are very noisy and demonstrative in their greetings and I am certain we appeared to be a small traveling riot centered in 2 cars; honking at several strangers and at the local gendarmes (police). At least for now, my cell phone bills will fall for the 10 days I am here and I can slow down (not stop) my wife’s shopping trips (Le Madame pouts to an extreme if she is denied – I usually cave after a few hours of that!).

As we drove to the farm my wife and daughters filled me in on all the doings, frequently glaring and yelling at each other (my wife included) about ‘not being able to keep secrets’ or ‘you weren’t supposed to tell that!' As HL Mencken once observed: “Wild horses couldn't drag a secret out of most women. However, women seldom have lunch with wild horses.”

My father in law took me to his study and he poured 2 glasses of wine being shipped to Lyon the following week. This year it would be the Coteaux du Layon vintage. Coteaux du Layon has been well known as a sweet white wine for at least 15 centuries and is in demand throughout Europe.

The wine was cool, tartly sharp and delicious. We walked out from his study into a small rose arbor (the farmhouse is nearly 300 years old) and sat down on an old stone bench (with cushions) that is probably as old as the house. My father in-law produced 2 Cohiba Piramedes LE 2001 smokes. Talk about a great cigar (I love looting his humidor when I'm here!). This is a smoke that only gets better with age: construction is outstanding, and the wrapper is a '2nd generation' of the 2-year-old reddish-brown special edition wrappers. The stick burns very evenly due to great construction. It is medium in body and has a lot of spice and pepper tones, a little leather and a faint flavor of chocolate. This cigar is creamy city.

Just as we finished our wine and cigars and were discussing the harvest and local politics, my wife appeared in the garden, announced that she had ‘unpacked my suitcases’, that I ‘needed a bath’ because I smelled like an old wino who had been in a tobacco warehouse fire and that “we” (the imperial we, with Adrienne) would be late for dinner and would ‘papa’ look after the girls. My father in-law smiled and waved. I think I heard Louis Armstrong playing somewhere in the house.

All I can say is:

:wine:

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Sounds like Cian had some one wash his back for him hahahaha !
& no I didnt say all that in one breath, I posted it just after midnight , since I knew I would be busy this morning, it is now after 6 PM here in Da Burgh , I am finishing up a pot of santos , I thought I had finished it last week but there were still enough beans to grind to make a full pot , I struggled through the day here, 82F 40% humidity , Jazz on the CD player, Cuban Monte #1 , & my wife had gone shopping , leaving me home alone, dammm it was a tuff day hahahaha , 2 of the guys who hang out at the cigar shop showed up with a bottle of home made red wine , I was already sipping a 12 Y.O. Balvinie or is it 10 , By now WHO GIVES A GOOD F*** , I have had a few since then & I am finding it hard to type & think at the same time, but that is nothing out of the ordinary!
this being a "Holiday" weekend I made some Burghers on the grill , along with some fresh picked green beans with bacon & a few bell peppers & onions grilled to a golden brown to put on the burgers , dammmm forgot the cheese ! , Barb is cleaning upo the dishes & I just now remembered the Goat cheese I got just to put on the burghers, Oh well looks like a salad for Monday now hahah.
No cigar drive tonight the dammm gas is just to much $$$ , since I live next door to a cow pasture, there is no mass transit here !
Speaking of the pasture, ole Angus McStud is for sale the farmer next door to me is now 72 & is going to retire , he is selling his PRIZE BULL at the labor day fair at the Grange Monday at 7 pm, world champion STUD BULL, I am going to miss his escapades & his bellowing at 4 am ! OH well TIME marches on ! Anyone got half a million for a BULL? hahahaha
Time for me to go deposit all the coffee & scotch in the new super flush toilet , this GEM with Flush 18 golf ball in one Giant WOSH!, I got tired of plunging & snaking after every "Good Movement" , so the American Standard SUPER FLUSH is now Proudly in MY bathroom ready to service ME ! hahahaha Enjoy, Vince

OH NO!!!

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :eek:mg: :flush: :flush: :flush:

VINCE, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A STRIP MALL ACROSS THE ROAD FROM YOU, WITH A LOOP BUS, AND CRACKHEADS HANGING OUT IN FRONT OF APPLEBEE'S!!!!!

That's what happens when farms get sold. This is horrible. Forget the mass transportation, buddy. How many acres is that farm? How much does he want for it? I'm actually half serious here. I think you know my father has to get out of Puerto Rico because of crime and the urban sprawl. Maybe we should talk. As long as the farm's not too big, and the urban sprawl won't reach me for at least 20 years, we might consider it.

He is not selling the farm Just Ole Angus McStud, he will be living there, just not making any more baby cows, the dairy part will keep going , he has a lot of family to operate that, he just is getting out of the breeding. , the farm is NOT & Never will be a strip mall, to many kids in the family all have land adjecent to the orginal farm, 4 generations so far , & a lot more to come, they didnt stop breading people Just beef ! hahaha Enjoy, Vince
