Sunday Morning Smoke

Dammm I was able to read & understand that, so from now on I dont worry about my poor spelling or poor typing .
4 days 6 days , no matter , Peace On Earth & good will to all men is the word of the day, & it should be the word EVERY DAY , but then people have ego's & there own ideas , well there goes the peace on earth & good will tward all men, but thats life as we know it. I dont want to get maudlin or start reaching for the meaning of life tonight , but mankind can use a dose of common sence & cut back on the testoserion. Enjoy, Vince
 
Thursday, 22 Dec. 05 , headed back to the hospital this morning, I have an abcess that needs to be drained, , OH JOY, this is getting to be a real Ball buster, , for some thing as monor as a little out patient surgery back on the 17th of Nov. & I havent been right since, well I was never to close to being right anyhow, but I went to the doc & he said get your former fat @$$ to the horsepistol to get a CT scan & get it drained asap. So off I go , 3 days before Christmas & I havent got anything done here at home, the wife put up the tree & did some decorating, but I havent been in the kitchen to make one blessed thing yet, I just called the butcher shop to see if he had any more Smoked turkeys , so that was a major problem sloved, he had a few that wernt spoken for & a Honey glazed ham, well the rest of the food will just take care of it self, , I have been dealing with Tony for so many years now, I had him on my radio show a few times & he has taken good care of me over the years, it is good to have a friend that will go the extra few yards to help out, his prices sre a little higher than the super market but the Quality & service are woth twice what I pay !
SO if I get admitted , or committed hahahaha & dont get back to the computer , have a safe & Happy Christmas & a some what sober ( but dont get carried away with soberity ) New year, a Good & Blessed Chaunaka , & for all the old worlders , a belated winter solstice , dammmm I missed the Edgar Winter , solstice show this year, dammmm first time I missed it for as long as I can remember, Oh well I guess I can catch it next year hahahaha Enjoy, Vince

Hey THANKS for the prayers & good wishes , back from the hospital, drained the abcess, & put me on a bunch of meds, 6 a day type BS, but I am back & feel a lot better now , not ready to kick @$$ & take names yet, but I am getting close hahahaha,

the Rocky Patell Legend was super fine, not as strong as I thought it might be, kind of glad it wasnt, took over 2 hours to finish it, the coffee was getting cold even in the travel mug, but good company ( my cigar smoking buddy & pastor Doug, we had a good time , lots of BS & a Prayer of thanks to all of you . HEY, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!!

Who's this Rocky Pantoliano and why did you smoke cigars with him tonight? You're not allowed to smoke cigars until January 13th! It sounds like the more you go in the hospital, the closer you get to smoking that next cigar! Hey, maybe if you go back in for something else next week, they'll tell you in order to live you'll have to smoke at least seven a day for the rest of your life. :dunno:

When I was done with the CT scan I asked the doc if I could have a smoke & she said yea, go ahead, but dont go crazy & have a fist fullevery day, 2 a week Max, so I had my 2 this week, but Sunday starts a new week !
Rocky Patell is a Cigar maker, his cigar the Edge is one of my favorites , he also makes Indian Tobac Cigars , , other than that I am "holding on "

All right Vince!! You go get 'em boy!

Well it is Christmas Eve, and all is a bustle in the house. Haven't has a cigar today, I have been laid up with the flu since Friday afternoon - hit me like a ton of bricks. Starting to feel better tonight, but I don't think there will be any smoking this evening, or tomorrow either. Such is life I guess. I just hope I am feeling better so I can go to church tomorrow, it should be a very nice service. After that its homemade stew with Cinamin buns for desert, and then Turkey, ham and all the trimmings for supper. Let the eating begin!!!!
