what are you reading?

I read the second two books in that series, and found them to be a little wordy. It seems that once you die your editor will publish every single word you wrote.

I am now reading the latest Ian Rankin, Inspector Fox is an interesting character.

You talking about SFI or GDT?
RR Martin seems to be a lot like Tolkien when writing. Describes everything so that you can imagine exactly what its like being there. Its all about building a world.

Finished "Violets are Blue" by James Patterson. Interesting read, quick but entertaining. Plus it had vampires (although fake) so that had me intrigued.

One Second After. A book about an EMP attack on America.

Just started "Angel Wars" by Stephen Quayle. I've been wanting to read this for a long time.

I just finished reading Lord of the Rings for what is probably the 12th time. Every time I read that book, I find something new, and it just never gets old!!

On Sunday I started reading "The IRA", about the origins of the group going all the way to current day. The IRA is something that has always intriqued me, but I knew little about. Though considered a terrorist group to many, I always regarded the IRA as the "good guys". And actually maybe not good guys per se, but indeed fighting for a justifiable cause. Maybe this book will enlighten me, maybe not. Interesting none-the-less.
