what did you smoke? 2

Montecristo Maduro?? I have not heard of these. Where do they hail from?

I spent time with the inlaws today so I needed to escape on several occassions to enjoy a cigar. Had a cao brazila Tin Size smoke. Not bad for the size.

Also had a diploma. Amazing as always.

ask Eclipse_man...he's the one who put it in the box. I know nothing about it except that it was good. :p

Yesterday went to a party and enjoyed beers from a local brew pub, and some home brewed barlywine (2 years old) along with a Padron 3000....needless to say...... a wonderful day!!!

Spent today at a friend's place in La Jolla and had steaks and lobster from Baja. His house is on a cliff overlooking a place called Blacks Beach, which is a nude beach. Unfortunately there were only saggy, wrinkled sunbathers today :eek:mg: But once in a while we'll get lucky and see some real good eye candy! 8)

As far as smokes:
My very first Davidoff Double R which was fantastic!
Padron 3000 Maduro
Opus X Fuente Fuente
And I also had the Sol Cubano Corojo Reserve Churchill that I received when cigar.com had that sneak preview back in January.
It held a 2 inch ash and had a great aroma. However, the draw was too tight so it never really developed any tastes that stood out. I might try one again, but probably just stick with the Maduros.

I hope everyone had a great 3-day!

I was out on one of the Knik River's mountain stream tributaries yesterday....trail chasing and sipping on a Cusano Hermanos Vintage Robusto.....was pleasant

Then We drove through palmer and I found a Drag Strip....so I am happy now

Nice. The cusano hermanos vintage is a personal favorite. Connecticut wrapper and rolled in the same factory where they roll davidoff. Practically the same tobacco too. Just a lot less expensive.

had a Diablo Caliente today. Nice aroma, but the flavor didn't do much for me and the wrapper didn't want to burn.

yesterday i smoked my first cuban with a good freind. a monte #2, very good! might need to run up to canada and get some more for special occasions.

I tried one of the Diablo's right when I won the box and it wasn't that great. I had one last week after letting it sit in my humidor for a month and it was much better. The burn improved as well. If you want I could send you one to keep in your humidor for a while to see if you have better luck next time?

Just had a Punch Royal Coronation a little bit ago. The day was not totally lost after all :)

No cigars today.
Doctor confirmed broken right shoulder. Too many maduros over the weekend.
Might have to start acting my age.

Bummer!..good luck on your recovery. I took a bad hit in my forearm 2 years ago and it turned into tendonitis...finally...after two years I have full use...........

Oh...and I smoked a camacho corojo toro over the weekend...damn good!

We'll work something out with the "Papa Bruce Lee's" in a little while when we get some more in stock...

:D

Been smoking my usuals: Fire Petite Corona, Honduran Primeros Toro, AF Exquisitos, and an occasional CAO, RyJ, or an AF.

Was looking forward to the cruise we had booked for the end of this month for our 15th anniversary, planning to pick up some sticks on the trip. Then our daughter made the cheerleader squad and we agreed to cancel our cruise and use the money for her cheerleading costs. Oh well.

I keep looking for a shop in my area so I can try some different brands. So far I've had very little luck.

i had a RP vintage 92, and a La flor dominica double ligero chisel. That chisel will sit you down.

I have some of the diaz chisells. Not a bad cigar.

Today I smoked a Jerico by Caribe (Camacho) They dont make it anymore. Great looking band that the cigar was so so.
