What Did You Smoke Today

Pleasant surprise today. An old friend stopped by for lunch. He did not have a ton of time so I took out 2 Hoyo Coronations from an 03 Box.

Road trip. You guys can play golf poorly, I can drive the cart poorly while drinking a beer and having a stick.

Let's use your Tribeca, man. We'll kidnap Adam too. It will be the Jersey Boys and the New Englander (he'll be the one saying "Can't get thar from here" or something like that.

Smoked a Danli today... I really enjoy this cigar.

I tried my first one a couple weeks ago when I got that fantastic humidor from Craig. I liked it so much that I got a 5 pack. yummm

I smoked my other Fuente Anejo 46 tonight. Man, what a great cigar! It definitely had a nice, full body, with a sweetness that I thought was sort of raisiny. I realize now that I was smoking an Anejo, with its wrapper aged in a cognac barrel with my glass of Ledaig sherry finish, which is aged in a sherry barrel. :D They complimented each other well. The draw and burn on this cigar were perfect. One of the best cigars I've ever smoked.

I just finished up a 5 Vegas Gold. It was so smooth, like butter. I am usually a maduro, fuller bodied cigar type of guy, but these golds are so nice and flavorful. I picked up about a dozen a while back. I originally got them to try out and also to have around for friends who stop by and dont smoke regurlarly. Well, I have dusted about 3 of these babies and love them. Not sure how many I'll have left for my buddies on our next poker night

I smoked an Oliva Serie O Robusto with a cup of Tanzania Peaberry. The cigar is great puro with loads of coffee, leather, and earth. The coffee complimented it very well. The cigar tastes almost exactly like the Ole from last year.

Prototype of the new cusano Cuvee Blanc (release date 4/07)
H. Upmann No. 2 ISOM (still my favorite ISOM)
Choix Supreme ISOM
Partagas Series P No. 2 ISOM
Matasa 30th Anniversar Toro

Just got done smoking a Carlos Torano Casa Torano Churchill. Great mild smoke with perfect construction. Great ash that held on for about an inch before it fell in my lap. Lots of light gray smoke with a nice light cedar taste. Went good with a nice cup of coffee. Great value for the money!!

Woo Hoo, 100th post, finally!!!! Just got done with a Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cedro Deluxe No. 2 to celebrate Columbus Day. Good overall smoke on the mild side. Pretty good ash that held on for about an inch. Lots and lots of good, gray smoke. Some uneven burn issues that worked themselves out. Very nice woody, cedar taste on the palate. Very pleasant after taste. Some light spice within last two inches of cigar. Overall good morning coffee smoke.

What I smoked during my trip to Vegas this past weekend:

Cusano 18
Montecristo Platinum
A. Fuente Hemmingway Signature
AVO Maduro
Gurkha Centurian XX
Gurkha Legend
Ashton VSG
and
Casa Fuente

Oh, what a weekend!

Awesome lineup Doc-T.

Today I spent my day off planting more herbs in the garden, getting my car smogged, and taking a drive up to Julian which is a gold mining town in the Cuyamaca Mountains. I picked up about 12 lbs of Gala apples, now i just need to do something with them

This morning I had a cigar.com Cameroon label torpedo which was almost as good as the robustos I've enjoyed in the past.
After lunch I had a SCDLH La Punta while I was eyeing the Murallas I picked up a few weeks back. But it'll be a while before I smoke one of those since they are still too young.
Now I'm enjoying an Añejo Shark while watching the NLCS 8)
Post game smoke ???

Apple cobbler sounds pretty tasty right now :D
I make a lychee ice cream that would go great with it.

It's funny, as soon as I read your post the big apple at Shea Stadium popped up after Beltran's 2 run blast
