Celebrated the four year anniversary with my g/f this evening, only problem was I forgot to grab the couple Padron 64's she bought me a while ago :roll: Settled for a La Aurora 1495 Corona, definitely a great smoke.
Just got done with my morning coffee and a Camacho SLR Rothschild Maduro. Great smoke with lots and lots of medium gray smoke. Nice hickory flavor left on the palate. Good gray ash that held on for about an inch and a half before I knocked it off for fear of it ending up in my lap. Nice little 45 minute to an hour smoke to start the morning off. Now its time to get a shower and get to the grocery store to get this weeks dinner.
Grilled out and had family over last night. Before dinner while grilling the steaks I had a Cuban Label Robusto and after dinner a 5 Vegas Seroes A.
I smoked a LFD Double Ligero Chiselito while raking some leaves. It seemed a bit harsh but it could have been from all the moving around and inconsistent puffing.
had a nording mini belicoso....really liked this stick, tasted a bit like a REO but better and without the spice, had a good sweetness to it too
While celebrating my Saints' thumping of the Eagles (OK, last-second field goal, but still), I tried the Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real Toro that I got in the mail a few weeks ago. It started out pretty mild but opened up after an inch or so into a nice medium bodied, spicy smoke. It's burn wasn't great, but I think I rushed it while smoking it. If the others are as good as this one, I may have to buy more.
Smoked a 5 Vegas Limitada 06 last night at the casino. Great friends, great cigar, great time. Can't get any better!
I finished off the evening with another LFD Chiselito. This time I had one with the natural wrapper. Not quite as harsh and a nice burn.
Got home late last night after another successful jazz and dinner service. Fired up a Partagas Shorts, had a Chimay, and then I knocked out. It was a good day in wine country.
