What Did You Smoke Today

Smoked a couple of good cigars while watching my Saints choke it up against the Eagles. Started with my last Tatuaje Regios and followed it up with a Fuente King B. Great cigars, horrible game. The B&M owner got a bottle of Glenfiddich 12 Special Reserve for Christmas and was passing it around so all was not lost. Oh well, better luck next year.

Just after 10 here, already about 65°. I stayed up till 3 am or so getting the Harley all shined up, it's been beautiful riding weather here.

I think I'll take a spin down through the Mule Mountains, into Bisbee. Bisbee is quite the eclectic town, and the coffee houses are fantastic. I'm taking a Don Carlos Belicoso, and CAO Anniversary Perfecto to have while I enjoy my coffee and people watch.

More later, I'm sure.

Currently enjoying a La Aurora 100 Anos (thanks, Gregg!) with some Old Grand-Dad 114. Very nice way to end a hectic Christmas Eve on a mellow, flavorful note.

After a long and fun day of eating ,drinking lots of wine and seeing family, and then seeing Santa come in and fill the stockings and put presents under the tree, I finally was able to relax with a cigar- about midnight. I fired up a Padron 1926 Maduro and took the dog for a quick stroll. When I got back, I sat out front and poured about 3 fingers of Bloof's #9 pick- Distillers Masterpiece No1- cognac finish(which I spotted earlier in the day at the liquor store while I was buying bottles of wine for presents etc) This was a wonderful relaxing finish to the day. The cigar seemed worth every penny and the Bourbon was magnificent! Just a few ice cubes in it. I slept like a baby until the kids woke us up a few short hours later - 5:30 to see what santa brought. Merry Christmas to all!!

It's shaping up to be another great day for a Harley ride. No idea where I'm headed, we'll see where the wind takes me.

I have the mini travel humidor filled with Perdomo Lot 23 Belicoso, Rocky Patel 1992 Churchill, Jose Piedra Breva, Opus X Corona, Montecristo Edmundo, and a PSP2.

Currently enjoying a Padron 1926 No.2 Maduro with some George Dickel Barrel Select. What a great cigar! Very complex. It started out a bit harsh (it was a little dry). It has become better and better as it gets closer to the nub. And I will definitely nub this one!

Had a Sol Cubano Artisan and a Montecristo Media Noche. What a great holiday weekend!

Smoked a really nice partagas lusitania last night while hanging in skype with the mooks.

I was cutting down for a while. That project lasted about three days. I'm doubling up today. Gotta get in shape for my hot date with Brenda on Saturday.

I just got finished moving the fire pit to the front of the house. The sunset over the Dragoon Mountains looking out front is incredible. I'll build a large stone one in the back yard to replace this one.

For my first front yard blaze, I have a Rocky Patel Corona Gorda size, and CAO Anniversary Perfecto. I think the libation will be an oatmeal stout.

In the past few days I have had:

Gurkha Centurian
Cusano MC Cafe Robusto
CAO Brazilia Gol
and tonight a Fuente Hemingway Short Story

I have had all but the Gurkha before. The draw was a little tight to start but loosened up in the first third. Had a slight run just after halfway point. Good flavors, really enjoyed it. The only other Gurkha I have had is the Regent Toro which I also enjoyed. I have another Centurian that will get some humi time but I will purchase more. But as I have seen other state on this forum, I would not pay regular retail prices for them.

Ahh, I just finished a T-Bone, with wild rice. A tad cool here tonight, so the fire will be roaring.

Earlier, I had a Punch Champion, and beside the fire, it will be a CAO Criollo Belicoso.

Colonel,

I just have to ask, what is a "tad cool"

Because it's 37 here tonight and that's a tad warm for this time of year.

Today I had a 5 Vegas Miami, and a 5 Vegas Limitada 2007....thanks Rob, they were delicious! Went very well with some Sumatra Mandheling...

Today I had a DonPepin Cuban Classic...spice bomb, wonderful

Tonight, a Fuente Don Carlos Belicoso. I'll have the 30-30 out at the fire tonight. That mountain lion has been getting too close for comfort the past few nights. If he passes by, good luck, he charges, he'd better have a bigger gun than I.

Had a Playboy on the evening walk with the dog. Very enjoyable. Much better than the Don Diego Playboy's that I had about a year ago.

Had my first Padron Anni last night. It was a 1926 Maduro. At first I found it a little harsh but I am getting over something. But after it settled down it was a super complex cigar with an excelent burn and ash. I hope to get a few and let them age for some time.
