What Did You Smoke Today

Had a Rocky Patel R4 and a Perdomo Reserve La Tradicion yesterday. The R4 was good, but the Perdomo left a bit to be desired.

I'm getting behind. Yesterday I had an 05 Monte. Edmundo and an 06 SLR Petit Corona. Today I'm smoking a 06 Cohiba Siglo VI with review coming soon.

Had an Onyx Reserve mini Belicoso on my walk with the dog this evening. Fairly enjoyable, but a 94 rating- I don't think so.

agreed. i gave it an 88. it was good but not 94 good.

Finally tried the Gurkha G3 that was one of my takes from Craig's box pass. I like Gurkha cigars, I just think most are overpriced. That's not the case with the G3. It's a nice fuller bodied maduro that has a peaty flavor and maybe just a touch of spice. Not particularly complex, but a smooth, balanced, good smoke. I'll be picking of few of these up for the humidor.

Last night I had a Cusano Xclusivo. If there was one word that seemingly describes Cusano cigars in general for me it would be "creamy"

Also had a CAO Italia Positano. This was one of the first cigars that was truely what I would describe as spicy.

It seems as though my one or two cigars a week is rapidly becoming one or two a day.

Though they are supposed to be the same, the X3 IMHO is a more complex smoke.

Not quite 11 in the am, and 70+°. It's gonna be a fine Harley and cigar day.

In the mini travel humidor I have a Monte 2, PSD4, and a Cohiba Siglo VI.

Had a Carlos Torano 1959 Exodus ISOM that was gifted to me by Bikeman(Gordon). Smoked it during my the Bama/Colorado game. Tremendous cigar that burned perfect and had some wonderful flavors. One of the best cigars I smoked in 2007. Thank you Gordon, my newest, bestest buddy!!!

I'm sure a couple folks are hangin' like a cheap suit today. HA HA! Not I, for The Colonel does not drink to get intoxicated.

I tried my best to get a cigar hangover, alas, that didn't pan out either. Crap.

I'll try again today.

I'm starting the day with a Don Carlos Belicoso. The list will grow, I'm certain.

Smoked a Padron 1926 Number 1 Natural as my New Year's Eve smoke with a bottle of Chimay Blue. Both were fantastic and highly recommended.

Tonight, I'm smoking a Padilla 1932 with some Wild Turkey.

What can I say? I guess I like smokes with years in their name.

Smoked a JLP Caz yesterday. Getting ready to smoke one of my Nordings on the porch. I just need to figure out which tobacco I want to smoke.

Over the past week I've had a Don Diego Anniversary, Bolivar Churchill, Cusano 18 Double Conn., Gurkha Legend, and a Gurkha Titan. I was kind of diappointed about the Cusano's lack of flavor, but maybe it was just a bad stick. I have a couple more in the box that hopefully wont disappoint.

Not too bad here tonight. It's about 54°, no wind.

Beside the fire tonight is a Rocky Patel 1990 Corona Gorda sized monstrosity.

Smoked a RyJ Habana Reserve robusto this morning.

I haven't smoked a lot of RyJ's but this one was the best IMHO so far.

if it wasnt so cold here I might have smoked an opus or a Don Carlos or a Hemingway or maybe the East India I got from Scott. It would not make a difference as they all would have smoked great to celebrate a WV win in the Fiesta Bowl. sorry Oklahoma fans--lets go Mountaineers. Coach Rod--stay in Michigan

It just may be too warm for a fire tonight, yet I may be brave and have one anyway.

For tonight, I have a Punch Champion and a Perdomo Lot 23 Belicoso. I think the libation will be Jack Daniel's Manhattan.
