What Did You Smoke Today

Yah, its a sultry 23F right now....but....aside from the pipe smoking I've been doing this winter, I did get in a 5 Vegas Shorty...very tasty, actually, I think my cigars taste better now that they are fewer and far between, it was the best 5 Vegas Shorty I have ever had...weird, huh... :dunno:

Earlier, a Don Carlos Belicoso, tonight, it's still warm, but I'll have a fire anyway. I have a Rocky Patel 1992 Churchill.

Just over 70° here this fine Saturday morning. The dogs and I are headed for a walk along the San Pedro river, up into the ghost town of Contention City.

John Wayne filmed a fair part of "Red River" there, and not a lot has changed.

I'm taking along a CAO MX2 Toro, and a Perdomo Lot 23 Belicoso.

5 Vegas Series A Apocalypse while I did the brakes one my car. I still think the little Anomaly has more flavor than this big boy does, but it's still a very good cigar for the money.

Tonight, an Opus X #5.

I'm already ciphering on Sunday's cigars, so I can post on Vince's thread.

Just finished an Arturo Fuente Small Panatela. Didn't do a whole lot for me.......

Saturday was an all Padron day for me. 1964 Anni in the afternoon, and a 1926 Anni with a great bottle of Cabernet in the evening. A guy can get used to this real quick.

today I had a padilla 1932, and boy did i enjoy it, one of the best cigars i have ever smoked

last night i had a RP OWR Corojo torpedo as well as the maduro,
both great cigars,

Picked up an Ashton Cabinet and a A. Fuente Anejo, and Padron 1964 but there sleeping right now

CAO Cameroon with some Kona. Early celebration for the giants win. This is my second one of these and I find them a great early day cigar.

Today was a rare treat for me: I was able to get in two smokes!

I had a Royal Jamaica after church and just finished a Partagas Short about ten minutes ago. I must say that the Partagas was very satisfying and possibly my new favorite.

i shoulda cataloged it but i was drinking vanilla stoli & coke. I only catalog when drinking water.

oh well. thats another day

I had a Cohiba Siglo VI earlier. Tonight will be a Rocky Patel 1990 Churchill, and the first of a fresh bottle of Jim Beam Black.

Had a great night last night while watching the LSU Tigers win the National Championship.

Started with a Padron 1926 No.6 Maduro...very good...little bit of harshness in front, but mellowed out pretty well.

After a break, I had my first Padron 80th (Maduro). I only thought that the No.6 mellowed out. The 80th had all of the flavor of a 1926, without any harshness. Never have I had such a perfect draw and burn on a perfecto. This is easily one of the top 5 cigars I've ever had.

After dinner, I had a Winston Churchill by Davidoff. Great cigar, though a bit of a letdown after the 80th. It is medium bodied and flavored, with a very slow burn. That robusto lasted from just before halftime to the end of the game. Got a little bitter toward the end, but my palate may have been fried.

What a great night!
