What Did You Smoke Today

Hmmm, St. Patrick's Day...

Although post glacial Ireland never had snakes, St. Patrick is said to have rid the island of them. That's too bad, because they all ended up in my yard.

I have a Monte 2 tonight.

I had a cohiba siglo I yesterday while workign from home. I had to relight the thing so many times (due to me putting it down a bunch of times to actually work) that I really can't truely say weather it was a good cigar or not. It started off very creamy and toasty; kinda on the mild side. The burn was pretty good, but I jkept havign to put it down and type and it would go out each time. Oh well; hopefully I will not be workign the next time I try this stick.

A very good Maundy Thursday to all. Yupper, it must be Spring, over 80° here right now. Earlier, I had a Perdomo Lot 23 Belicoso, and tonight, a Hemmingway Signature.

Gotta love March Madness!

I started the afternoon with a very good Romeo Y Julieta. I followed that with a Hemingway Maduro Signature. I just finished off an Anejo 55 from 2006. Very good smoking day, but the games were a little disappointing. Oh well...can't win 'em all.

I'll be taking the Harley for a spin around town. I'm taking a Don carlos Belicoso along. Maybe I'll watch the sunset sitting on the patio at The Dragoon Saloon.

I smoked a very nice Partagas Black this afternoon courtesy of Chris G. Thank you very much brother - it was a fine way to spend some time for Good Friday.

I had a Chateau Fuente Sungrown. Very nice smoke. This just might accidentally become my everyday smoke...

I'm heading out on the Harley soon, check out some local bands at the various saloons. I'm taking along a Cohiba Siglo VI and a Monte 2.

Sunday I had a RP Decade Toro and CAO AMerica Landmark. Both excellent smokes. Today I'm just smoking Indiean Tabac Super fuente Naturals. Those are my work smokes.

It is still chilly here, but it has been a great cigar week so far. I have smoked a Tat Havana VI (thanks Erik), a La Aurora 1903 Ruby, and an EDRM Choix Supreme Lonsdale (thanks Kev). Today, I think its going to be....wait for it.....a RASS courtesy of my brother Steve.

I have no idea what to expect from this monstrosity. It's a Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas Churchill. A lot of cigar here.

Today I had a Gurkha Royal Brigade, and a Camacho Coyolar...that Camacho will put hair on your chest.

A few nights ago I smoked my first Kinky Friedman cigar. It was a Kinkycristo torpedo. The first half left a wonderful "hot cinnimon" sensation in my mouth. The ash was extremely flakey and the burn was very uneven. It required a few touch-ups and finally burned out in the last third, which I did not even bother to relight. I did enjoy the flavor, tho!

Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066...very sweet, very ripe taste.

Had a 5 Vegas Shorty the other night and an Onyx Mini Belicoso Last night. Both pretty good but the weather made it hard to really enjoy them.
