What Did You Smoke Today

I smoked a Gran Habano 3 Siglos tonight with some Wild Turkey. That is a fantastic smoke. For the money, it's one of the best out there, IMO.

I agree with that, but I tend to like the #5 better, and it is even less expensive.

I had an Ashton 8-9-8 yesterday. Nice little mild smoke.

Had my first 5 Vegas classic while doing yard work Sunday. Thanks to travis for sending it to me, a very nice med bodied smoke. At the price I will look to pick some more up.

Ya, I did some research, and found that out. I'm used to very not legal cigars, so I'm looking forward to a legal I have not tried. I'll keep y'all posted. I'm heading to The Four Deuces later to have it.

Had a VSG Belicso and some merlot while running in and out to watch womens gymnastics. I am very proud of the USA grils. Only watching because my daughter does gymnastics now. But the VSG is a great smoke, this one did need some relights but has only been in the humi a short time. Hope my spelling is ok, I did have alot of merlot.

Had a Zelo de Cuba tonight. Not too bad for a real cheapie I'd never heard of before. I threw in a real low-ball bid on CigarBid thinking I'd be outbid and not caring. Evidently everyone but me knew they were cheapies.

Kinda nutty, toasty flavor. Could be worse.

Had my first Camacho Liberty the other night. It was an 07 that I have been holding onto for about a year. I was a wonderful cigar. It was well packaged in it's coffin and tissue wrap. It was perfectly constructed, well packed, perfect wrappers, a perfect draw with a great taste and tons of thick smoke. Just wish I wasn't so busy and could smoke/post a little more often. oh well I still have one left and I plan on letting it rest a little longer.

Today I had a 5 Vegas Lim 07 while cutting the grass. It was my first 07, not bad just a few burn issues. I have a couple more resting that I will compare it to.

Had a La Aurora 1495 Series Cameroon 1994. It was a well made cigar, nice cap, great draw and wonderful burn. The flavor was nice, woodsy with a bit of leather. I think I expected more, but I didn't pay that much attention. It did have that classic cameroon taste if you like that sort of thing. So I will not know for sure if this is a stick for me unitl I smoke the next one.

I had a Fonseca Sun Grown #4 Petit Belicosa last night. Amazing smoke. One of my new favs. If the recommendation of an Ol' hillbilly means anything....go get some!

Yesterday I smoked an Oliva Serie O Figurado that had quite the nicotine kick. Today I'm enjoying an 01 Partagas Churchill de Luxe, of which I posted a few brief comments in the Havana Lounge.
