What Did You Smoke Today

I smoked one of the new CAO Lx2s this weekend. Very good smoke. Didn't knock me on my butt or anything. Very flavorful. It was a prerelease though, so I'll be curious to see how the released product measures up.

My taste-treat of choice for last night was a CAO Brazilia. I think it was the Ipanema based on its size but don't know for sure since it was part of a sampler.

A great smoke. Some minor unraveling and uneven burn in the final third but not a problem.

Of course, the snifter of Baker's I had to go with it made things mucho better.

I had an Illusione 68 last night. I was excited to try this cigar and was let down. It got hot and bitter and if I slowed down enough to get some good flavor from it, then it would go out. I relit several times with the same results. I still have an 88 and I hope I like this one better.

Had to go to a jobsite this afternoon so i swung by home, picked up an Oliva special G, and smoked it on my way. Very good 30 minute smoke. I need to pick up some more this weekend.

I smoked a CAO MX2 that has been resting for a while in my humidor. It was a bit one dimensional, but a very nice smoke none the less.

I am currently smoking a LGC Wavell that i have had for a year. Nice and chocolatey!

I smoked one of my last Don Pepin Blues while cleaning the car and replacing its disposable carpets. Another fine fall afternoon in my neck of the woods.

It was a great day in SK once again, I smoked my last Ghurka Expedition from a package I bought last year. A very nice way to spend some time in the yard watching the birds at the bird feeder.

today i started off with a cabaiguan guapo, then had the la riqueza (not sure what size , the small one) next i had a tatuaje Unico...then finished the day with an illusione ~hl~

That's a great day right there.

Yesterday, I had an Oliva Masterblends 1 and an Opus X Petite Lancero to celebrate someone finally renting my house out. Both cigars were excellent.

Aubs....
I'd bet a G that you are the ONLY law school student that smoked an MB1 AND an Opus yesterday.....or either one for that matter!

Today I smoked one of the Victor Sinclair Triple Corojos I got recently. Didn't meet my expectations. I figured 'triple corojo' would be more along the lines of full body/full flavor but I wouldn't rate this one as any more than medium in either category.

It's good, just not great.

Ah, well, the quest continues..........

I had a HDM Hoyo de Tradicion last night. I was a well made and packed cigar, nice box press and great burn. I would like to see how these age it was a nice smoke with flavors of toasted nuts, and some earth and leather. It tasted a bit young so I am curious to see what some age will do. I have a couplemore so only time will tell.

I had a HDM Dark Sumatra at lunch. This is a tasty little inexpensive smoke. I used to keep it in my rotation and forgot about it. I am happy I added it back in today.

i had a padron 4000 maduro yesterday. I kind of expected more. it wasnt bad and would have no problem buying it again.

I just smoked one of my last LFD Double Ligero Oscuro Lanceros. I will have to get another box for sure. Just a wonderful, flavorful smoke.
