What Did You Smoke Today

I was up there with my girlfriends family so I didnt manage too much time in the creek. Good times though with her family, some of the best fried chicken Ive ever had, and her youngest brother's birthday made it a good weekend. Two weekends from now Ill be back in the water. Im counting the days . . .

I smoked a Sol Cubano Maduro toro to follow a morning of success:

I aced my nutrition certification exam as well as my plated entrée, and that smoke extended my good mood well into the afternoon. Even burn, long ash and great flavor. Would have been even better with some distilled spirits, but I would've felt akward with a scotch seated outside of the federal building :D

Axe, congrats my friend. :cheerschug:

Thanks Capt. To pull off a perfect score on an entrée with the incompetent partner that I was assigned wasn't easy...he could have fought me on our strategy: him staying out of the way while I work. Same plan for tomorrow too

Congrats Axe!
Food is good! :D good food is better

Smoked a cusano corojo 97 last nite up at the he man woman hates club while I worked on a small project.

Its only the second one I've had. Not nearly as good as the camacho...but still good. Alittle bitter near the end. Didn't remember that from the first one. Will need to smoke another one.

This week:

Mornings: AF Exquisitos or Hemingway Short Story or CAO Gold Robusto

Afternoons: 5 Vegas 'A' Artisan or CAO Brazilia GOL

Thanks Ravyn, and I couldn't agree with you more 8)

After grabbing another perfect score on today's fish entrée I went out and had a Choix Supreme, followed by a Diploma. One of the other guys from class and I decided since it was an unsually hot day, we would go by the beach and check out the "scenery"

Great smokes and a great view!

Edge Lite torpedo. Sweet merciful crap, it was the best cigar I've had yet. It was so smooth. Very mild but also complex. It also had a razor straight burn. Too bad they only come in boxes of 50.

Had one of the Perdomo overruns that I had CI replace a month ago - this one was much better than the first batch - the time in the humidor is working out. Better draw - good taste.

Friday I posted that I had the Edge Lite but I forgot about my pipe. I had a blend my tobacconist sells called St. Charles Best. Its a really strong black cavendish and lakatia blend. Yesterday just the pipe with the same blend. I was smoking it on my way to work and passed a cop at a stop sign. I don't look like I should be smoking a pipe so it made her do a double take. She stared like "should I pull him over?" She didn't but in a way I wish she did just so I could have pulled the 8oz. bag from the glove compartment and said "here, take a whiff."

Thats awesome. Sure way to embarass the P.O.

Met with Scott (USMC 6672) at Smoker's Delight in Union today. Had a Padron 6000 and an Ashton Maduro - only thing better than the cigars was the great conversation. If anyone is in the area and has time during the week - let us know - it's a great shop with some good coffee.

Scott - thanks again for the sticks - it was a pleasure my man.

I had a good time with Kelvin today; enjoyed a Carlos Torano Signature, and an Ashton Maduro. Had a few cups of coffee with them.

Came home and smoked a CAO 65th anniversary. After dinner I smoked a Cusano C10 while walking the dog. This walk was longer than usual so I could enjoy this smoke!

First day I had to enjoy a cigar this whole week. Definatley worth getting out of bed this morning!

CAO MX2 Beli. Its been a few months I think since I last had one of these and well worth the return. Nice and smooth. Lots of thick and heavy smoke. Maybe the ol' honker is on the fritz but I distinctly smelled the occasional hint of manure off the thing. Weird in that sense but overall was still good. I'm gonna have to make room in the budget for these when I get the CX2's this weekend.

Romeo & Julieta 03 limited edition robusto
Bolivar Gigante

gigante has to be one of the better churchills out in the market

i had one of the little punch rare corojos yesterday. started off kinda funny, started to run a little bit, but straightened right out. i thouroughly enjoyed it, and found myself wishing it had been a churchill instead of a robusto...

last night I had the great pleasure of smoking my first Anejo, courtesy of axegod75. What an awesome cigar...I wish they weren't so dang expensive. The one I had was the No. 48, 7 x 48. I usually don't like this size smoke, but I had absolutely no trouble at all with this one.

Oh baby I cant wait. T Minus 18 hours until life insurance test over. T-18 hours and 1 minute before sweet DIPLOMA BLISS :D
