What Did You Smoke Today

you sure you should make a comeback with a diploma? your tollerance will be lowered! i gave my roomate a diploma last night, hes not a big cigar smoker lately as he smokes a pipe, i figured he could handle it but he had to run to the store and get some pepto bismal after only an inch rofl.

Me and my buddy were up until two last night playing guitar and writing songs. It was great to just relax and play. I have two tests tomorrow but Im not all too worried about them, so we may do it again tonight. :D I smoked a CAO Mx2 Robusto. The Mx2 is still my favorite smoke. Ive yet to have any problems with any of them. Maybe a Partagas Black Label tonight.

last night I had the great pleasure of smoking my first Anejo, courtesy of axegod75. What an awesome cigar...

I'm glad you liked it!
As for me, I've been sick the past couple of days so I haven't smoked anything

This morning, I tried a Don Diego Aniversario #3. It was a little spicy, but had a great draw and a very even burn. I didn't have to re-light it at all.

Yesterday I had an AVO No 3 and a H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon. Both were excellent

Last night I was able to mellow out with a Don Bienve 1981 Limited Reserve. Very impressed with it. Not as mild as I had expected (very nice pre-light smell too) and it generated a decent amount of smoke. Really rolled over my tongue and exhaling through the nose definitely brought out more character. Once my palate is more developed, I'm sure I'd be able to describe it better. All I know is that it was a good smoke.

Started off with a Penn Dark beer and it matched very well - I love how a good beer can enhance a good cigar and I really noticed how the cigar made the beer taste different as well - masked the bitterness and enhanced the sweetness.

Halfway through I switched to an A&W Root Beer - also very good, but I think I prefer the regular beer. The root beer was already very sweet and the cigar seemed to make it a bit too sweet. But that may just be me...

Glad you liked it, Cybrus. And the Don Bienve Limited Reserve is not all that weak, either. It's no Bolivar Belicoso Fino, but it's no Macanudo either.

True enough - don't know why I thought it would pretty mild - glad to be wrong though! Looking forward to another one on Friday and then letting a few of them sit for a while

Yeah, pretty bold tasting, huh? Very unique too, and on the sweet side for sure. Viva Don Bienve!!!

You grandfather makes smoked fish? Does he ship?

My cigar today was a Savinelli Nicaraguan Reserve Churchill, which had probably been in my humidors about a year and a half. They age very well.

I have not had my daily smoke yet! However I can tell you what I am going to smoke after my dinner of shepards pie. Im going to have a Hoya de Nicaragua with a glass of scotch. Ill tell you all how it ends up.

Took the day off Wednesday to shut the pool down. Started the day with an AF chateau and finished it with a Padron 2000.

Had to cut my trip to Boston short - but I stopped in at Churchills for a cigar in between meetings - had a Perdomo La Tradicion Reserve - it was a decent cigar. Nice little place - great conversations.

Went to the Devils - Penguins game last night.

Handed out a bunch of Cusano 18's to some friends who were more than delighted.

Thanks to the members of this forum, I now know what I can get them for Christmas!!!!

Watched that game last nite...we got spanked :(

Seemed like the Devils were on the penalty kill for the whole game. 2 minutes for touching Mario Lemieux!

Geez, we should have done a fantasy hockey league too. But I would hate to dominate yet another league!
