I had a Cusano 18 double Connecticut robusto. Creamy delicious! I had a really nice draw, the ash was a light grey, burn was even. It went out once (about 3/4 a way down.) This is one of my new favorites.
Yes that Cusano 18 is a crowd pleaser. No matter what you usually smoke it seems that everyone likes them.

I am smoking a Bolivar tubed robusto. Pretty decent cigar. I picked it up yesterday. It tastes a lot like a diploma, but 4 dollars cheaper. Ill have to pick up a few more. Nice oily dark wrapper, and wonderful aroma. The finish is very nice, sort of a funky chocolate flavor.
Sweet Mother of Mercy I had the WORST stick ever tonight!!! And I mean WOW it was bad. A Pueblo Dominicano Torpedo, and I cannot get rid of the awful taste!
There must be something wrong with that stick; I have 3 more I'm going to try after a long while of aging (sure I am).
I toasted and lit that puppy and she smacked me square in the mouth with a taste that can only be compared to smoking metal shavings. An absolutely rancid sensation. I washed my mouth, got some coffee and ate a small piece of bread, thinking that I must have made a mistake and it was just a one time occurance.
I hit that evil stick again and hit it me back harder. The taste was almost like sticking my tongue on a 9 volt battery. I can still taste it and I have brushed my teeth twice and eaten dinner.

C10 robusto. Fabulous as always.
A CAO Sopranos Associate. Beautiful oily toothy wrapper. Had a strong leathery prelight aroma (then again there is leather in the box). Lots of thick billowy smoke rich with a woody aroma. Was not as full bodied as I was expecting but up pretty high. Had a nice peppery cedar flavor throughout most but then turned to a nice nutty flavor about 4 inches in.
It was very good but for the $10-$14 tag I can get two or three others that I like just as much. I definitely won't be buying the box at that price. :shock:

Alright Quagmire, spill the beans. Where did you get them? I agree with the taste you described, and the price is a bit high. But I am looking to buy a whole box of these. I'll call Cigar.com today and see when they are going to get these, if at all.

I smoked a CAO Cameroon that I had sitting in the bottom of the humidor for a few months. I only thought they were good before. I have a few more that I bought a few days ago. I may let them sit for a while.
I also smoked one of the CAO Sopranos yesterday. They are good, but I think they could sit in the humidor for a while too and get a lot better.

I called Cigar.com today for the skinny on the Soprano's. They do have them in stock, I ordered 5 singles. I am seriously considering a box, just because it looks so damn cool!!
