What Did You Smoke Today

I like the C10 Corona. One of my favorites. Reminds me of a Cuban Monte No. 4

Torano Exodus 1959. Was great little cigar I really didn't want to put down. What's the difference between the regular exodus and the silver? Either way they're both good.

Last night I smoked a Rocky Patel Connecticut with a glass of port. I really wasn't impressed with this cigar. Very grassy, with a bitter aftertaste. I did smoke the whole thing though. I lit up a Don Carlos right after.

What kind of port was it and did you enjoy it?

Yesterday I had a Short Story, Choix Supreme and a Diamond Crown Maximus #4

The Choix had a bit of a tight draw but it opened up after the first 1/3

Axe, the port I had last night was Dow's Boardroom. I got a couple bottles discontinued for only 11.00. It is a decent port to cook with, plus I can drink it when I want without feeling like I am drinking my wallet. I still have a half bottle of Presidential Porto 30 year. I got it in August, and I am having a hard time keeping my hands off of it.

went fishing today, yes it was cold and we didnt catch anything, but i enjoyed:

A fuente (1)
A fuente Hemingway (1)

Nice deal on the Dow Capt, out here it ranges between 15-20 bucks. That Presidential 30 year is some good stuff. I opened a bottle back in April and couldn't help but finish it over the course of 3 nights

Ahhhhhhhh, port wine. I remember those years, and although I've had some good ones, surely nothing as good or sophisticated as what you guys are into. Enjoy it. Macallan, SOOOOOO sorry to hear about your bad cigar experience. Don't you hate it when every cigar you're smoking is a dogrocket? I've had periods like that. I hate when that happens.

Yesterday afternoon smoked a Hoyo De Monterrey Excaliber 1066. Beautiful looking cigar - black as coal and oily. Smooth, delicious smoke. Kind of one-dimensional in complexity, but good earthy flavor. Very enjoyable.

Had an Ashton Aged Maduro along with a CAO Italia Torpedo today. It was great, as I have not had a cigar since Christmas!

Fuente Exquisitos maduro. I smoke these pretty frequently but really I don't know why I don't even more often. They're great little short smokes that are rediculously cheap for the flavor.

3 cigars today:

Hemingway Short Story this morning
Opus X # 5 after lunch
And right now I'm finishing the evening with an H. Upmann #2 from down south...and I don't mean Mexico

I love that you guys just smoke an Opus after lunch like its nothing. If you get them at retail then I could understand.

Then again, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

Nice little sticks, right?

I stumbled upon a C.com Cameroon label hiding in the bottom of one of my desktops.

I am currently punishing it for hiding from me. :D :D :D
