I had one of these tonight (robusto). I had about half a box sitting in my humidor for six months or so. These have gotten a lot better. Considering you can get a box of these on auction for ~30-35 bucks, they are quite a deal.

I love those 10th annis.

Capt, where do you get that CAO Blue Note? Doe they make others as well?

I had a Padron 4000 tonight that had been in the humi for five or six months. Had a real uneven burn but man that was a good cigar. Had what to me was an almost walnut flavor. Nice, thick billowy smoke too.

La Gloria Cubana Wavell.
Mild pre-lit aroma. Medium-bodied smoke. Peppery start. Burn started off uneven, but eventually recovered 1/3rd the way through. Ash wasn't as tight as I'm used to. The ash fell off after 1 inch. Flavor was spicy for the first third, and smoothed out all the way to the band. Near the band (last third) got to be bitter. Smoked it a little more, and called it quits.

Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this stick.

I'm smoking a Baccarat Rothschild. It's a mild smoke but, I'm not crazy about the sweet cap. It keeps a nice long ash and burns evenly.

this morning I had a monticristo #30...fantastic

this evening I had a Joya de Nicuragua Celebration that I got from Capt in a trade.....totaley awesome

just after finishing lunch, i went and smoked a Partagas Spanish Rosado Mitico. Smooth and wonderful. One of my favorites.

I'm smoking a Joya de Nicaragua Corona right now. I believe I got this one from dbrad4d (thanks!) It has a great Medium to Full flavor, with a nice long ash and even burn.

My first full weekend off from catering in a month...and it rains!
Luckily I'm at my dad's place where it's A-O-K to smoke inside the house.

Saturday's Menu:
Appetizer: Short Story
Entree: Oliva Maduro Oasis
Dessert: Montecristo #2 cuban

Sunday's menu:
Appetizer: ERDM Choix Supreme cuban
Entree: LFD Chisel Gorda natural
Intermezzo: PSD4
Dessert: will be a BBF

This afternoon I smoked a Monte #4.....can't wait to try one of these with some age on it.

Then a little later I smoke an "Edge" Maduro by RP... I was suprised by this one, I thought it was quite good for the low cost.

I am with you there Spider, I am waiting on some #4's, can't wait!!

I finally got to smoke one of my Brazilias tonight - good smoke, great burning, lots of flavor, just the way a CAO should be!

I had a Monte #4 on Friday with a bottle of 1992 Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and the pairing was incredible :wine:
