What Did You Smoke Today

Had a nice lineup today.

1. H. Upmann Corona Major Tube (Cuban) - Great Cigar.

2. Hoyo de Moneterrey Coronation Tube (Cuban) - Even Better

3. Graycliff G2 Robusto - This is my favorite of the Graycliff lines except for maybe the crystal and fortunately the least expensive. More earthy with some light charred spices. Would have pinned it as more honduran had I not known where it is made. Nice cigar.

the other day my order got here.

5 vegas gold toro

5 vegas classic (what ever that means)panatela

arturo fuente 858 maduro

sol cubano sumatra churchill

sol maduro torpedo

sampled all but the gold. the panatels had alot of taste ,slow burning, not to much of a bite.the 858 what can i say loved it from the start.may need some age on it.first couple draws tasted green.but after that very nice and smooth..the sumatra its so-so not really my taste...now the maduro very nice my first torpedo.nice slow draw.very tasty

Cusano C10. Previously I had been having problems with these tasting bitter but I figured it out, I didn't notice the box was closed and it seals so tight they weren't getting humidity right. So after a while loose in with my singles, smoooooth. Wrapper still cracked but was salvagable. Nice to know they weren't declining in quality after all.

Little later a Fuente Exquisitos maduro. Running low on these now...

I'm trying my first Cigar.com Cameroon Label (torpedo.) Overall it's a nice stick. Good draw, even burn (I learned to ash these cigar.com cigars  ) I can see why folks like these so much. What a great value.

Cigar Numero Dos: 5 Vegas Torpedo. A veiny wrapper with a light leopard pattern. It has an even burn and has a consistant Medium bodied, smooth flavor. A woody taste with an almost sweet finish. The ash is long and white. A great deal for $4.

Managed to enjoy some of this beautiful day with a great smoke before I head off to an event some of us from school are catering.

Cigar of choice was an Hoyo Epicure Nº1, which was great after my light lunch of white truffle risotto and a Riesling from Alsace.

luckily its a rainy day here in florida(we really need the rain) so it was a good time to sit back and relax with some good cigars. started off with a reo by rocky patel which is quickly becoming a favorite. this evening i am trying my first edge by rp this too is a very good cigar. rocky patel cigars are becoming my go to cigar as i have not had a bad one yet. :D

Lucky for you Imina...I thought this cigar was terrible, and a waste of time...

Just smoked a Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Corona.

It's billed as a medium-strength stick, but I'd classify it more on the mild side of things. Nice, smooth smoke. Good for relaxing late at night, or when I need a break from the spice bombs. Not sure it's worth $4.50 a pop, but I've got another that's going to sit in the humi for a few months before I give my definitive opinion.

Tried my first full bodied smoke last night (Partagas Black Label), I was a bit worried that it would be to much for me, but it was a very interesting cigar. Whole bunch'o taste with this stick!
While much stronger than the Rosado it still had the familiar taste of it. Can't say it was my favorite at this point but, I'll be buying more of these.

The Partagas Black Label is a goodie. If you like it, try the 5 Vegas A series. I personally like them even better than the Partagas, but they fall along similar lines. (Less expensive too)

I'm with BP on this one....5 Vegas A are great smokes, I like the torpedo size, but have smoked the little Anomolies too..both good. (I also love the Partagas black label though, as well as the Rosada)

Yesterday I only had the chance to smoke few sticks. I woke up to a great pot of Kauai Peaberry coffee with a Cameroon Label. After running some errands, I got home and smoked a Cuban Label. It has been awhile since I smoked a Cuban Label, but I don't know why. I love these almost as much as the Cameroons.

I am going to have to try some of that Kauai Peaberry you are always talking about...and I DO love those Cuban Labels! you'll be happy to know that i have some Camaroons on the way as well..lol

Spider, if you have never smoked one, you are gonna be suprised at the great constuction, taste and aroma of the Cameroons. I am down to 1 1/2 boxes, I think next order I put in, I am going to buy three boxes and see if I can't throw some age on a box or two. Well, maybe one box. I will just hide it on the aging shelf, and forget all about it. 8)

Well I love the cuban label as much as you capt and woud like to try the Kauai Peaberry also.......where is a good reliable source for this blend capt?
