What is your favorite Hobby?

I'm a medium/rare person as well.
I found out a long time ago that ordering a well done piece of meat usually meant you'd be getting the most unattractive and sometimes older (not aged) cut.

If it's bleeding, I'm feeding

Also the saying "vegitarian is and old Indian word for bad hunter" would fit for me this year.

 I'm a vegetarian. Surprise, surprise. . .

I bet your husband/boyfriend isnt vewry happy with that ! hahaha Enjoy, Vince

If God had wanted us to be vegetarians, He wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

Brenda, I understand the vegie thing, its okay, I really like my vegies too, but NOTHING is better than a nice Red Angus steak, medium rare fresh off the Bar-B-Cue. Almost better than a good cigar!!

I forgot to mention that food thing in my hobbys, I love to cook over the Bar-B-Cue, and usually do it all winter long!! Just shovel away the snow, and have at er!

My most recent musical passions have been jazz, blues, and old standard crooners. I think my faves in these genres are: Charlie Parker!, Thelonious Monk, dixieland jazz, Sinatra, Louis Prima, Dean Martin, Muddy Waters...
Great choices.

I'd have to agree, though I tend to lean more towards the blues side and I'm also into the Blues Rock - Stevie Ray, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, John Lee Hooker - sweet!

Oh, and Jimmy Buffett, can't forget him!

Then you can't forget Lightnin Hopkins, Elmore James and Robert Johnson.......oh and of course Etta James.

Okay, now that we're talking about music I have post a list of stuff I dig. I have LPs, 8-tracks, Cassettes, CDs and I broke down and got a MP3 player. I love (In no order):

Bessie Smith, Muddy Waters, Blind Boys of Alabama, John Lee Hooker, Memphis Minny, Lightnin' Hopkins, Mississippi John Hurt, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Wilco, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Robert Johnson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, B.B. King, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis Costello, Charles Mingus, Ryan Adams, Thelonious Monk, Clifford Brown, Charlie Parker, Willie Dixon, Nina Simone, Etta James, John Coltrane. And a Tucson band, Calexico. And lots more.

One of my most favorite musicians was a man by the name of Rainer Ptacek. He was an amazing guitar player. He died in 1997 of a brain tumor. Everyone should check him out. http://raineroftucson.com/

Ah - B.B. King - saw him in concert recently and what a fantastic show! And I'll check that guy out Brenda - always looking for new people!

I don't know Brenda,

is there really music after Elvis?
There would be no Elvis if it weren't for people like Big Mama Thornton.

LOL, I have plenty of Elvis, too.

I've seen him four times and even met him once. I know The Colonel is a fan. Where is he?
