Yes Virginia, there really WAS a man who resisted stepping into the 19th Century more than Bloof.

:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :help: :bolt:

Heyyyy, wait just a minute there!!! Since when did we hit the 21st Century? I'm still buried in the 1880's. :dunno: :flush: :duh: :duh:

Well in your case Bloof, just keep your musket handy and your powder dry....

:neer:

:cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

Will do. And I'll remember to keep the hammer that drove The Golden Spike polished, too. I won that from an old prospector I played cards with five years after the Civil War, just a year after Promontory. Seems like only yesterday. :sm_angel:

Bloof,
I also meant to send you my condolences the other day. I know the 25th must have been hard to get through, it being the anniversary of the passing of that close friend of your from way back...
Gen. George Armstrong Custer

Didn't you go to grade scool with him????

Wow. That's when Ol' George died, was it? It was also the anniversary of my high school graduation, and my two worst asthma attacks, both of which came within a minute or so of possibly killing me. All of that and Custer, too. Who'da thunk it?

:dunno: :dunno: :help: :help:

Whoa(in my best Keanu Reeve's voice)!

Must be something to that Karma thing....

2000 was a good year for me , the last time I bought a car, still have it 130K miles & still going strong,
the High Speed Internet is the third best thing I have found since my wife & grandsons ! I am on my third on line computer, had one before but It was a radio shack color computer & I didnt have an internet connection & it was before the internet exisited, to boot , so now I have it, dammmmm it is so different , I would down load stuff over night , now it takes seconds , no time to play solitair when I wait for the mail to down load ! , well it is back to checking out the Porn ! hahahaha

who is Kaenu Reeves ?

Enjoy, Vince

Sorry Vince,
I forgot that you grew up with Methuselah!!!!!

Glad you are zooming with us now my friend!

I am a little older today than I was yesterday, still type with just 2 fingers , never did learn to touch type, , but I can get the job done , & THANK GOD for spell check ! this is a real kick 100 times faster than my dial up , got the entire package, TV, Phone & internet, one bill a month, no extra phone line for the computer any more, so Now I understand what every one has been talking about , "I feel the need for speed" !, Now if I could type faster hahahaha ! Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks & I have been retired since 1999 so it is time for me to slow down , hahaha & I go & speed up !!
Enjoy, Vince

I've got the same deal with Cablevision, IO Gold TV package, phone service, and high speed internet, all for $156.95 a month. It's great. As for Keanu Reeves, believe me Vince, I wish I DIDN'T know who he was, or Paris Hilton or any of those people, but even when you watch an all-news station, they always have an "entertainment" division. They're all so important, y'know.

Foreign Policy by Michael Moore

Handling The War On Terror by Al Franken

This is Another Vietnam by Janeane Garofalo

The School of Hard Knocks by Paris Hilton

and last, but certainly not least, . . .

The Complete Book of Acting by Keanu Reeves

Dammmm 150 plus, I got a one year special 99 bucks a month for all 3 , 33 bucks each, plus 3 bucks for the modem & 5 bucks for the converter box on the TV, so it is 107 plus tax each month , my phone was almost that alone , plus the dish for the TV , the dial up service more cash to spend on Cigars ! , what a country !!

Yeah, but which TV package did you get? I've got the second highest package before you get to the digital TV package. Plus, they give better deals now than they did in November 2004 when I got hooked up.

Oh, and it's New York. Everything's more expensive here.

We can afford it, y'know. We're New York and our wallets can kick your wallet's ass.

   :duh: :flush: :flush:

Bloof, send me your wallet (full) and I'll put it in a pit with my wallet, and see what happens. I will return your wallet (....) after the match, and post a video on youtube of the event.

:cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :cryinlaugh:  :eek:mg: :rotflmao: :pumpkin:   :cryinlaugh: :pumpkin:

Remember when Rudy was on Letterman many years ago, trying to come up with a slogan for NYC, and they decided on "We Can Kick Your City's Ass?" I didn't see that episode, but it became part of NYC folklore forevermore.

And speaking of You Tube, I just discovered it recently, when a guy posted a link to the really hot looking young English girl, who exploded, sending bodyparts everywhere, when she tried the Pepsi-Mentos bit. Unfortunately, the video has been taken down "by the user," according to the note on You Tube. Another funny thing is that the whole Pepsi-Mentos thingy has been challenging El Chupacabra for air time, and You Tube, with it's various videos on the theme, has suddenly been very prominent in the news.

Okay, wallets at ten paces. :cryinlaugh:  :sm_angel:

I got the basic package with all the local stations, & the digital music , no pay for movies like starz , show time or hbo, all I watch is food network or I could just go back to the roof top antena , But my wife watches all the BS like O , Lifetime, & some other BS I have no idea what it is !
