Yeah, I've got HBO, the sports channels, all the movie channels, whatever, the music channels, which are GREAT :thumbsup: , you name it, that's why mine's up there in cost. For all the TV I get, it's worth it though, but it's so much TV I could never avail myself of the menu, even if I watched TV all day. It's nice to know that it's there, though. :mrgreen: :sm_angel:

If I had the cable in the Qtr.Deck I might watch some thing, but since I dont No big deal, soon as I can get the stuff together I am going to put in a wireless network, then get a lap top, then I will be able to access the internet from the Qtr.Deck, so it will give me a lot more Internet time , smoking, drinking coffee, single malt & listening to music , dammmm welcome to the new century ! hahaha

Friday Up date 6/30/06
the rain has let up & the yard is a swamp , we didnt get hit as bad as they did in Eastern Pa , it will be a few days before I can cut the grass, might just sink in the puddles , the rose bush is looking just fine, hey I dont even remember planting a rose bush, but there it is , growing like a weed, , Nature has a way of making things wonderful, like right now I am sitting here looking out the window at a baby groundhog eating my black raspberrys , But I didnt plant the raspberrys either, they are just growing wild along the fence line between me & the cow pasture, but at 4 bucks a pint at the farmers market I dont mind picking a few pints of berrys , No I dont sell them , I just dont need to buy any ! elderberrys are growing wild, the roses & the raspberrys, all put here by the un seen hand of The Master Gardener & giver of LIFE
it is great to be alive here & now , I am happy with my life so far , sure some things are not what & where I expected to be at this time in my life, but what I have is great, No Rolls Royce in the drive way & no full time handy man to cut the grass & clean the gutters, I do that my self, so IF I had to pick a word to discribe my self would be contented !

Good morning to all from the Burgh , it is still raining here , but the grass got cut by hand, couldn't use the tractor, it is just to heavy & would have left ruts in the yard , so Barb cut Everything when I was off having a cigar with some friends, GOD Bless her !
the ants have found the hummingbird feeder & it is full of dead ants , they get in but cant get back out, , I have done everything I can think of to keep them out, but I get defeated by shear numbers , , they just build a bridge with there body's & die, the next one falls in line & soon the gap is covered with dead ants & the rest just walk over them, they give it up for the queen to keep on !
I am having some Peets Coffee this morning a monkey blend of about 5 different Peets coffees, , the trash man is due here Monday so I have been cleaning up all the little bags of this & that to get the most trash I can out of the house & make more room in the pantry for my next trip to the store !
we slept in this morning didn't get up till after 9 , last night we were at my daughters for the Independence day fire works & pig roast , the city's official & sanctioned fire works is on the Th but we jumped the gun a little last night & had a pyrotechnics display that was as nice as we could afford & to be sure NO ONE got hurt , we had a professional shoot off the stuff, , the only person at the party over 21 who wasnt drinking ! he didnt charge anything for his services just wanted his family to come to the party with him , Fine, he & his wife & 3 kids went swimming & ate & when it was getting dark, BOOOOOOM , we had a diet coke & mentos fountain

you take a 2 liter bottle of diet Coke & drop in a few mentos mints & the soda will shoot out of the bottle like a Zit popping !
if you are going to try it do it OUTSIDE ! , it happens FAST so drop it in & get away , or you will be a sticky mess !, I cant imagine what would happen if you drank some of the stuff with one in your mouth, FOAM down the runway for a crash landing !
Looks like I will be grilling some chicken today it is just to hot to put the oven on for a hunk of roast beef, but after what we had last night , I dont want to think about food to much , Dammmm did I JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD !!!!!! I guess the spell food has had on me all the years I have been alive, has broken, ( My mother told me my first word wasnt Ma Ma or Dada , it was MORE )Go figure ! hahaha

I guess you never saw the video linked from You Tube that one of the members posted about at Cigar Wise over a month ago. It was really funny, and has since been taken down. It was a really hot, red haired English girl doing the Pepsi and Mentos bit. She blew up. It was pretty gory. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA, 4 July 2006 , I just got home from taking the grandsons to the movie to see CARS, what a great show, I loved it from Larry the cable guy to Owen Wilson & all the others it was verrrry funny , great jokes & I was digging on the cars & the vocabulary of the people , great concept & great devilry, the boys loved it & ate me out of house & home ! a small fountain coke was 3 bucks, & if that isn't bad enough a bottle of water was 3.25! , I get a case of 35 bottles at Costco for 4.88, sell 2 bottles at 3.25 & you have paid for the entire case & made a few cents on top , the rest of the case is PROFIT, but I sound like that is a bad word, after all this is the USA land of the free & home of the taxed !BUT I digress 230 years is a long time & I am PROUD to be a taxpayer in this country

AHHHH yes its SUNDAY again 9 July , 2006. Pittsburgh has been gearing up for the all star game this week, & the Blue Angles are in town for the air show & with all the construction & extra traffic all the events are bringing to town I am staying as far away from the traffic as I can !!, this month is going to be a busy one medicaly for me , I go to the Proctologist WED . for the semi anniual roter rooter screening of the colon, I have an eye surgery the 22nd to repair a detached retna , the 3 laser treatments didnt get it done so it is time for the knife ! & I have a fallow up exam with the gastric by pass doc also this month . so I will be examined from the top of my head to the bottom of the behinnd , How did I miss the foot doctor this month I will never know ! hahaha

Time to refill the coffee pot, the Kona was wonderful this morning I am going to make this pot Kenya AA , moving to a BOLD cigar the Tripple Legero , Thermo-Nuk-u-lar Mombacho , from Tabacaleria Tropical( shamless plug) , it is a reall eye opener, & just what I need to fire up the taste buds .
We will be going to a Funeral today, one of my wifes cousins was killed in a motorcycle accident on his way to work , last Friday, much the same type of accident that Big Ben was involved in , but he had a helmit on , but was going a little faster & was thrown about 60 feet ,from the point of impact , just 34 years old, the same age as my daughter , DAMMMMM it would be tuff to loose a child like that, he had a 13 Y.O. son .
On a lighter note there is going to be a new Cigar shop in Monaca , Pa should be open by Sept. 1, upsale ,2 plazma TV's , leather chairs, terra cotta floors , walk in humidor , private lockers & a coffee bar, BYOB, I have severed my ties with B&B cigars in Rochester , just across the river from Monaca , we had a parting of the ways that left me holding the bag on a fair amount of debt , but the good thing is I will not be held liable for any more of the debt. , it was a greatime & fun while it lasted but all good things must come to an end BUT I hate to loose a friend over money, I wish him luck in what ever he is going to do next.
the second pot of the day is ready , & I have a nice OLD Mayorgia High Octain from the orginal release on deck so I will get out to the Qtr.Deck, turn on the A/C & get ready for a fine smoke !

I notice that The Colonel is now listing dual locations. Can it be that my favorite retired cop that looks like a retired rock star has finally left the Northeast?
