what did you smoke? 2

I smoked lots of fun stuff over the weekend, so much in fact I got sick. I smoked a lot of camacho corojo churchills, an opus X, and my favorite of the trip, an H. Upmann torpedo from Cuba.. Ymmy.

Feeling better today, 5/16 and smoked a gurkha symphony torpedo, not a bad smoke to get back into the smoking action.

Edicion De Silvio Double Corona..I have to say I am not impressed with this cigar, noe of them so far...Al though my pal Macallan has given me one with about a year of humidor time, so, we'll see what the difference is...

had a pirahna, partagas black label, and a leoninos.
the leoninos was different, ok but not going to make my regular list

Went for a walk yesterday and smoked a "National Brand Nicaragua" robusto gordo 5 x 60. I usually prefer a 50 ring and I was thinking that the 60 ring would be alittle big. I really enjoyed it. Smoked perfect all the way down. Lots of smoke, easy draw and real full bodied. Alittle peppery. Man, this is a good cigar for a bundle cigar. Gonna put it in my rotation.

Bit of a shame, heard my dog was run over this morning. Put a bit of a downer on the day. Had a RyJ Churchill en tubo in her memory.

Chin up everyone, the sun will still rise in the morning

Sorry to hear that man, I lost my dog that I had since 3rd grade two years ago to Prostate Cancer

had a RP 10 year, still one of my favorite smokes. There is something about these that just sends me to the same place smoka and macallen go when they smoke a diploma.

Aye, aye Captain Bildo! I agree whole heartedly! I am about to fire up a Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Consul, I have never had one.

thats a fine smoke, i have a box of the celebracion coronas... they aren't quite as "powerful" as the antano.

I had one of the Antaño Gran Consul's on my trip this past weekend. Has some power to it. Now I'm gonna finish off my hectic day with a newer un-banded Diploma and some Makers Mark.

i love that smoke ando, today i had a montecristo platinum or whatever the one is with the silver band. it was pretty good.

Two cigars today.

Cuaba cuban: started out with a tight draw and was canoeing like crazy. I was about to give up on it when it completely self corrected and was a great cigar.

Diploma: I need not comment on my experience. You all have heard it to many times before.

I had the same experience with a Short Story this morning. Aside from the awkward burn it started off very bitter, but 15 minutes in and it settled down. As for my second smoke of the day, I enjoyed my Diploma last night so much I had to have another after lunch. As for this evening? Anybody's guess. It all depends on where I take my brother out to dinner. I'll probably go to this Brazilian steak house by the mall (maybe I'll see Tommy Lee from Motley Crue who is a frequent guest)...It'll give me a chance to see everyone in Jedi gear lined up outside the theater...don't get me wrong, I'm a SW fan, just not to that extreme  Of course I have tickets for tomorrow, I just hope it's better than the last 2.

Tommy Lee is a badass. He smokes CAO Flovours like it is going out of style. I keep a collection of very very very rare cigars. Stuff they only make a small handful of. I will have to post the entire collection sometime but for now here is a little gem i got two weeks ago. It is a cao moontrance robusto with a second band that says "Tommy Land" made especailly for tommy lee. They only made 1000 that were made for the band and back stage vips. Thought you guys might want a peek.

All the talk about the new Rare Corojo's put me in the mood for one of last year's double coronas. These have been sitting in my cabinet for just over 8 months and are smoking great right now. I'll probably put one of these in the box pass. This way if anyone else gets the '05's they can do the comparison.
