What Did You Smoke Today

Monte 2, I have that pulled. Looks like a Sancho Panza Sanchos is in the line up for later.

Vets, and vets kin, thanks for everything, We appreciate all you've done. And that goes back a few centuries.

Thanks.

Oliva O Maduro Ole and a Cusano hermanos vintage (2003) Both were excellent but my hat really goes off to the cusano. Probably the best maduro I have smoked in quite some time. They are ripe for smoking out of the aging room right now.

Since Friday afternoon....

Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Toro
Rocky Patel Connecticut Toro
Onyx Reserve Mini Belicoso
Cusano Corojo 97 Torpedo
Cusano 18 Paired Maduro Robusto
Graycliff Professional PG
La Aurora Robusto
H. Upmann Churchill

Mostly smoked while sitting by the campfire with one of my favorite beverages! What a weekend!!!!

Oh man, it was awesome! A long weekend with perfect weather and nothing to do but hang out, relax, smoke great cigars, drinking some quality beverages. I can't wait till this Friday... cuz I'm doing it all over again :p :p :p

Indian Tabac Super Fuerte
El Ray De Mundo Choix Supreme
Punch Gran Puro

Those were yesterdays smokes. Ahhh...what to smoke today?

Had my first Gurkha Double X over the weekend. I have to say I was not overly impressed with it. Unless they come WAY down in price, this will probably be the only one I ever smoke.

Had my first Cusano 18 Double Maduro robusto after letting it sit in my humi for 4 months. Excellent cigar! Very easy draw, nice creamy smoke, slight spice on the first couple draws which mellowed out. Became a little sweet throughout. Another exceptional cigar by Chiusano.

Been so busy I haven't posted in a while. I smoked a cigar last thursday night that one of you sent me. Unfortunately, in the move, I've lost my cigar notebook, and I don't know who sent it to me, or even exactly what it was. Whatever the true identity of the stick, it was very tasty, and apparently smelled good enough that a woman came from across the bar to sit with me and sample my smoke 8).

It had a two-tone, "barberpole" wrapper and was (VERY roughly) 6x50. Here's a picture of the band. If anyone recognizes it as something they sent, or can just identify exactly what cigar it was, the info would be great to have.

Thanks in advance!

Man, I'm still dying to get my hands on and try that Cusano Hermanos Vintage '03.

BTW, is the Hermanos Vintage in the Cusano Robusto Gift Sampler (on the Father's Day Gift page) the same 2003?

Here at N 42 degrees 5.521' W 71 degrees 24.094', we're having severe thunderstorms. Going to sit on the front porch and watch them.

I'm taking a PSP 2 and Pigs Ear ale with me.

sorry about the rain Wacco. here it is 107 and sunny. 112 by the weekend. See what you have to look forward to. I think a 03 Lusi for me tonight

finally got some much needed rain here this afternoon. enjoying a pueblo dominicano torpedo now and have a lgc serie 5 maduro for later. :D

I smoked a Torano Exodus 59 Double Corona. It has some earthy undertones and peppery spice. Long finish. Medium to full-bodied.

My friend and I smoked a couple of Super Belicoso Opus Xs and sipped Macallan while we did some wood working (I'm making a knife.) I'm shaping a handle made from maple, walnut, and cherry around a blade. It's turning out nicely.

The Opus had been resting in my humi since October. Mmmm. So nice. The wrapper's aroma was wonderful. And, the body was fantastic. Even burn. Long salt and pepper ash. Beautiful construction.

I must say, I've been smoking mostly Cubans but, this was a really nice change of pace.

Brenda, you are going to post a few pics of that knife when you're finished with it, aren't you?

you bet.

I'm bummed I didn't take pics of the progress. I still need to sand out all of the rough edges. And, add a lip the the end of the handle. Then, I get to start making the sheath.

cigar.com cuban label. Very good, for the money it cant be beat.
Honduran Primo. Nice little cigar for 1 buck a stick.

I'm on the cheap today!

I just smoked a "The Edge" that Jesse52 gave me. Kicked my butt from start to finish, and I knew it would from the moment I tasted it....before it wass even lit!
