What Did You Smoke Today

Having a 5 Vegas classic corona right now. I love these things. Smooth, tasty, great burn, what's not to like? They're a tiny bit milder than I generally prefer, but you just can't beat the taste.

Man I wish I had one of those evenings coming up...it's been frigid in the mornings with the fog and the afternoons have been windy.

But at least it isn't raining like back east

Had a Fuente Anejo last night. Great stick, but what I like best about these is the pre-light draw. It's so sweet one would almost think its an infused cigar.

I sent the friend, who turned me on to stogies, a few months ago,,, 2 Gurkha Legends, a few Pueblo Dominacano's, and some CAO's.
Monday I got back 2 Fuente short stories, some Hyde's flavor's. And the best was 2 from an island we shouldn't discuss. What a friend. He say's his son gets them for him but won't say where. Make's my gift kind of lazy ehh.
Now I have never smoked any of the island smokes, can't wait though. Any special thing I should do with these.
But I did have a short story and was taken back by this little beauty, nice, nice, nice.

I would let them rest as long as you can. They will do nothing but get better with age - as long as you keep them at the right humidity, they should keep for many many years.

There you go brother!!

Yesterday evening, I smoked an excellent LGC Reserva Figurado - all the spice of a regular LGC and then some - what a smoke!! 8) 8)

Lost a CAO Soprano earlier in a downpour. A senseless tragedy.

Tonight, I'll have a VSG, and follow it up with a PSP2.

Thanks Bikeman. Many, many, many years. Hmmm. I don't know 'bout that. I may have to sparke one up for the newest addition to our family. My oldest is giving birth to a new granddaughter Aug. 3. Now the other will set there for awhile. I am just to impatient, specially for something new.

Let me just start out by saying many blessings to those who have served are serving, bled and died for the Red, White wnd Blue. This day is just a small reminder to us all for all of your sacrifices. . .Thankyou

. . .Today I just finished the most amazing Punch Gran Puro, I think I am in love. The draw was magnificent, and the taste was remarkable.
A spicy taste that was accented by a glass of single malt scotch.

. . .Good night nurse    :eek:mg:    this baby rocks.

If this is what I have to look forward to I am definately hooked!!!

Wow, is all I can say. . .simply devine.

I hear you brother - I find it difficult to let stuff rest after travelling, let alone for years. From what I understand though, that type of stick should not even be smoked for the first 5 years believe it or not!!

I don't think I could wait that long for any stick!

Had a Fuente Sun Grown Royal Salute on Monday as I played a round of golf.

Man, this was a fine 3.5 hour smoke! I didn't smoke anything else that day because it was just too hot on the course. Took us 5 hours to complete our round.

I turned a Cusano C10 robusto to ash last night. I got this for free when I bought a box of 18's. I didn't know what to expect, but I did not expect what i got. It was an OK smoke, but I guess I expected it to pop the way the 18's do for me. I'd rather burn an 18.

I also got a Cusano Crojo in the free pack, whonder what that will bring....

I had a cusano corojo the other night. Great burn, good flavour, but not as good as the Flor de Oliva Corojo I had a week ago. That thing was awesome. Sunday I had a 5 vegas classic robusto. Really good stick. I loved the flavour. This may be my new go to stick. I really like them. Very consistent and great flavour. The burn was near perfect. The price on them is good too.

Headed to Boston, yet again. No ideas yet, but I'm bringing along a PSP2, Monte2, PSD4, Sancho Panza Belicoso, and a Cusano 18 Maduro Toro...

Smokin a La Flor Dominicana Limitada 2 right now. Man, this thing is like smokin a chocolate cover cyane pepper in a bowl of whip cream!!!!

I only have one cigar on me (since I dont own a humidor yet) and its a CAO Odyssey.. and needless to say I'm saving it for a special occasion. But after reading this site nonstop for the past day I needed something to smoke!

So I threw in a local Creme Brulee blend into my pipe and lit er up. I like pipe smoking, but it seems very one dimesional to me compared to cigar smoking. I'm gonna have to order some singles soon.

Smoked a Gurkha Genghis Khan toro and a 5 Vegas Classic torpedo during a round of golf last night. Smooth smokes, but I wasn't overly impressed. Great golf-gar, as I had no burn or relighting issues. These two would fall into my "everyday" smoke, but definately not a special occassion smoke.

Six or so months ago i picked up a 5er of H. Uppmann Coronas (Dominican) because I got a good deal and have never tired them. I smoked one when i recieved the pack and thought it was terrible. It was harsh and bitter without and good flavors to balance it. Over time the other 4 got buried in the depths of one of my humis. Last night I had a long day and was at the gym till closing. I got home and went digging for a small cigar I could relax with that would not smoke for more than an hour. I passed the Fuente short stories over because I want to get some age on them and found the Uppmanns sitting there and figured why not. I was pleasently suprised at what 6 months did to them. It turned out to be a good little smoke heavy on tobacco flavor with a little spice in the last third. I was quite satisfied.

First off, I hope everyone is doing well.

I've been busy and without internet service again, not that it matters since I've been real busy. But I still manage to find time for a smoke here and there.

Today after a great day working in my school's restaurant I had the pleasure of a PSD4 which burned like a champ. Tonight I'll be doing a catering job so I probably won't smoke again until tomorrow.

Enjoy the weekend!

A friend of minie came up the other day and when he did he brought me a gift. he brought me a pipe and some tobacco. Im not sure what kind of tobacco it is but its good. ITs very sweet and it smells great. so for the next week or so while i go through the pipe tobacco im gunna lay off the cigars.
