What Did You Smoke Today

i had one of those. maybe i had a bad one. the one i had was in the robusto size and i was unimpressed. maybe ill have to try it again.

Smoked a CAO Italia tonight after the labor day bbq. Had it with some Patron and coke.

The bastard was better than I remembered. Sigh I'm going to need more

Pre work cigar: C10 Corona...MUCH better than the last time I dove into one of my boxes. No hashness or acrid notes whatsoever. I love buying a box and sampling it from time to time until it's just right, and fellow forum members...it's just right! I had to put it down with 1 1/2 inches to go cause I was running late and it bummed me out. But thankfully I have more :D

Post work cigar: San Luis Rey Regios. This came from a 2003 box and it seems to be almost near its prime. By no means was it bad, I just feel that another year or two and this will be dead on. Now I'm just sitting here typing, waiting on some friends from class that are in SoCal for Labor Day weekend. I'll be swapping kitchen stories and drinking a few beers and maybe a cigar or two.
I'm glad I don't have to go in tomorrow until 2PM

kuzi16,

E-mail me and I'll send you a sample of all three wrappers. Don't know what happened with the one you smoked, but they are selling great.

Aged over 3 years with 5 blends from various regions of Nicaragua - very tasty, complex with a ton of flavor.

Thanks Bro,

where can i read or find more info about these roxors? i had not heard of them before

Bikeman, those Monte Afriques are worth it huh? I almost bought one of those the other day, funny thing, in my little over a year of smoking I have always passed up MC's as too mellow and mild for my tastes but I am starting to come around, I smoked a platinum earlier and loved it, nice and meaty, worth another try and even better as my package from JR came today and there were three more of those beauties inside.

Smoked a Torano 1959 Exodus Robusto last night, was like a fine piece of chocolate for a good long while and it burned flawlessly, defintely going to try some other sizes and eventually look into a box of these, good stuff.

Smoked one of the new fonseca habana selecciones. Mild and super sweet. Full review will be up on the blog next week as I am traveling now.

Wow! My father-in-law gave me a Bolivar Bolivar tubos No. 1 and let me tell you... holy moly was it nice. He had been aging them for years. I really loved the chocolate and espresso flavors bursting out of it. A very smooth smoke. It took me a good 45 minutes to smoke it because I wanted to charish every second of it. If that wasn't enough, he gave me another one for my humidor! I love this guy!

This morning I started my day off with a Short Story and some organic Tanzanian Peaberry. Very nice combo.

After lunch I fired up a PAM 64 Exclusivo maduro which had to be one of the most eveny burning cigars I've had the pleasure to smoke.

For an after dinner treat I have a Partagas Lusitanias clipped and waiting.

Had some running around to do this morning before work which included taking a few pounds of figs from various trees in my yard and turning them into fig chutney.

Had only time for a Partagas Shorts before work, but I have a Macanudo Hyde Park waiting for after work...
I'm gonna use it to light my Master Blends I Churchill

Last night I smoked a Zino Connoisseur 20...mild and smooth. Tonight I smoked a Medalist by Alec Bradley...I've just about finished a box of these; a nice daily smoke.

Lets see...I started the day with a cigar.com cuban label then this evening I had a VC Bohemian Oscuro. I'm fixing to end it with a AF Hemingway classic and a nice galss of Zin. The cigar.com cuban label was a great way to start the day. Great taste with an easy draw and a nice even bur. The Oscuro was like trying to suck concrete through a straw, sucker was plugged tighter than Elvis. I know the Hemi wont disappoint!

Was this your first one of these? If not, what did you think of your previous one(s).

Lit up a La Aurora Preferido gold tubo last night. I'm eyeing a Cusano C10 this morning...

Got home from work a little while ago after being hit hard for dinner, two banquets, and 2 bridal showers involving lots of wine and champagne. I had a Partagas Chicos on the ride home but I'm so tired that I wouldn't be able to finish another cigar tonight.
Looks like I'll have to wait till sunup for a Choix Supreme.

last night after the wedding eve party a few of the guys came back to my house and we each had a 5 Vegas Series A Archetype.

wonderful. rich sweet maduro with cedar undertones. this is what i look for.
