What Did You Smoke Today

I smoked a 5 Vegas Limitada 2006 last night. Burned great and had a little spice to it. Great flavor and tons of smoke. I gave my buddy who was smoking with me a c.com purple label that had an enjoyable aroma to it. No complaints

Love them Limitadas. I need to stock up before the 07 comes out.

anywho I had a 5 Vegas A torpedo. I wasn't feelin it. IDK for some reason I'm not a fan of many maduros. I think I'd rather have a sungrown, cammie or corojo. Fits my tastes better.

Saturday It was a C.com Purple torp....way to mild for my tastes...

Sunday before the Men's Expo I had a Cusano Paired Maduro...excellent smoke. I'm on a bit or a cusano kick right now...looking forward to those DSG's that I picked up last week after they settle a bit.

partagas black prontos walkin the dog...small stick but smoke longer than i thought it would- almost an hour...

I can't wait to try those DSG's either.

This morning I had a Short Story with my coffee.
Now I heading out to spend my day off in Laguna Beach and I'm bringing a Montecristo Nº 2 along for the ride.

I had a Baccarat natural today ... well, part of one. I was ok with the sweet cap as it wasn't too overbearing. The flavor was alright, but the smoke was acrid and burned my nostrils. Not cool. I tried tipping the ash, and blowing out the old smoke, etc. but it was still there.

Might be willing to try another, maybe a maduro, but its not high on the list.

So you tell me ... do they deserve another chance? Or should I skip 'em and move on?

I smoked a c.com q*ban label torp. I was quite impressed. For the price of the stick you cant go wrong with these. I didnt feel it was as spicy or peppery as the 5 vegas limitada that I smoked the other night. Does anyone else agree with me on that one?

La Gloria Cubana Serie R #6

I say this about almost everything I smoke but damn! This thing is fantastic. I've never had one of these that dissapointed.

Last night smoked a RP Edge Torp maduro (aged about a month or so). Gawd those things are good. So spicy at the end.

Sunday I had a 2 AF Hemingways, a Best Seller and a Signature, both great smokes.

Last night I treated myself to a Hoya de Monterrey Petit Robusto from the deep south, fantastic!

At the moment I'm enjoying a Fuente 8-5-8 Maduro.

Last night on my trip home from CT I burned a Ashton VSG Sorcerer that I've had sitting in my humi for almost 2 years. Outstanding stick. One of the best aged sticks that I've ever had. Beauitful dark wrapper, great construction & flavor, a little plume...absolutly outstanting.

nice.

I smoked my first Padron 1964. Awsome smoke. I couldnt believe the smoke pouring out of this little thing. Burned perfect. although kinda pricey for me I think I might get a couple more and try to age them this time. The key word is "try". They might end up getting smoked sooner.

I am sitting in my office smoking a Vega Talanga Tercio. I have had it sitting in my cigar locker for almost 4 years, and never thought about pulling it out. Glad I did. Nice smoke, has a kind of scothie flavor to it. I have no idea what they are like fresh, only one I have ever had, but aged it has a very nice flavor to it.

Smoked a La Aurora Cameroon Preferido last night. Major dissapointment and I am a guy that absolutely loves La Aurora products. The construction was gorgeous, as good as I have ever seen a perfecto rolled. The burn was above average for a perfecto but the taste just was not there, it was bland, flat and almost stale. Of all the Preferido line this is my least favorite, I smoked one of these a while back and enjoyed it but after this cigar I'm not sure I would try another, $13 for a cigar that doesn't make me go wow is not good.

I have two Emerald's sitting in my humi just waiting for a good day, I really hope they are a step above the Cameroon.

Cloudy-
I think you were specifically asking, but i smoked one of those fresh el rico habano's after sitting in my humi about 2 weeks, smoked it in the car with the window open and about 20 degs out at 75 mph...It was Fantastic!! Strong, but very smooth...perfect, even burn and balanced...i couldnt believe,....really really good...def keep em on the dry side though

HighPSI, thanks for the info brother. I will give those another try sometime soon. Maybe let them get a little humi time before sparking up.

I think my favorite La Aurora cigar is probaly the regular line robusto. Decent price, smooth taste, even draw...nice everyday stick.
