the purple is pretty good

I had a great cigar wekend. I went to Nerf 6 as the lone representative for amback on Saturday. Had a great time and met a lot of great guys. I smoked a ERDM choix supreme ; what an awesome smoke. I must get more of those. I could make that my everyday smoke. Nutty, slightly spice, rich and smooth. Ohh.. what a great stick. I was gifted a 99 Punch Lonsdale from Jack from HCF. Not only was he a great guy to sit and chat with but he was very generous as well. The 99 punch was quite flavourful and smooth. Kinda of toasty and creamy. I was having such a good time that I was not able to concentrate on the cigar as much as I should have.
Last night I had a JFR robusto from Quag (thanks buddy). This cigar had smoke that you could almost chew it was so full bodied and rich. Kinda of choclately and coffee like but not really. It was an interesting and good taste. The burn was perfect and the draw was incredible. It got a little sweet at the end. If you can get your hand on them; go for it.

Today I snuck in a Montecristo 5 before coming to work. Great coffee bean flavors that changed halfway into black cherry. Nice, short smoke.

A mild 56° night here in Tombstone. I'm off to the Dragoon Saloon, then to the Crystal Palace. I'm taking along a Bolivar Royal Corona and a PSD4.

For me, the Partagas Serie P No.2, very flavorful good smoke, white ash, strong aroma, hints of sweetness. Recomended

Just let a Gispert robusto kill itself off. It'd been trying since I lit it. Decent enough taste (very woody), on the strong side, and perfect draw. But the thing would not burn evenly, and refused to stay lit. When its work, the joy gets lost. Maybe a lonsdale would fare better. They're cheap enough it might be worth a shot.

This morning I smoked a 5 Vegas Cask Strength. Even burn, draw was fine, but not as good as the 5 Vegas Classic line.

I just finished a very nice La Perla Habana (thanks Rob), a very nice cigar with lots of spice. A very nice way to end the day for sure!!

Not tonite but recently.

'06 RASS courtesy of Brenda. Had a bit of a bad burn at first but that evened out after an inch or so. Less flavor than I had expected it to have but nice nonetheless. I wouldn't say it was complex, but what I picked out was enjoyable. The wrapper split in a few places towards the end though and I had to set it down.

Then I lit up a JFR robusto. I haven't had one of these in a 4 or five months, but they mellowed out very nicely in that period. A very nice woody flavor in the beginning which progressed into a nice char/peat. I really wish I had more of these to see what time would do to them.

I know what you mean Quag; that is one solid stick.

Last night I had a Joya De Nicaragua Antano. This is a solid stick, heavy for its size and a dark chocolate wrapper. The draw was ok, but a little loose. The burn was off most of the time, it needed a lot of corrections and multiple re-lights. The flavour was full bodeid but flat. Not much going on but leather and tobacco. Overall I was disappointed with this stick. I have had it for a year, but wonder if it maybe needed more than a year to age.
2 out of 6

I'm glad you folks are constantly updating this thread.

Makes me really jealous too, since I haven't smoked a cigar in exactly 2 months to this day because of my thyroiditis.

I'll read this thread and the Reviews & Ratings forum, and just savor the cigar flavors in my imagination.

So, what I smoked [in my dreams] recently was my favorite Cusano 18 PM, followed by a Gurkha Legend, and topped it off with a nice PSD4. 8) Can't wait to go to sleep tonight and open up my imaginary humidor in my dreams for the next set. :?

HA HA......that's great....it's been cold but i've been able to sneak a c.com cameroon torp and a Punch Corojo Magnum and today's ride home will consist of a 5 vegas A...my first A...looking forward to it..

Had my first CAO vision today. the local shop got a couple of boxes.
Very good soke IMHO. Full bodied lots of smoke and a good flavor. I will be buying more.

I was digging around the bottom of one of my humi's and came across a cigar.com purple label that has been sitting for about 8 months. I forgot what a great mild smoke this is. Paired very nice with three fingers of walker black. This is a great smoke for an easy night or to have extra's laying around when the moocher friends come by :D

The Black Pearl Rojo is one of my current top 5. I'll be coming back to La Perla for sure.

Same here. And yeah, same experience (though at $13 a stick I may not buy many more ;) ). Uncomplicated, dark, woody flavor, also a perfect burn and draw. And it went great with the muscle relaxers  (they're legit prescription) CAO is definitely working their up to being one of my go-to brands.
