What Did You Smoke Today

Kelvin, was that a corojo or maduro edge?

It was a maduro I believe - Razorking can confirm this. Have you had one? It's a real tasty stick! I have another sitting in the humidor. That was the first torpedo shape I smoked - kind of liked that shape.

I really enjoyed it. Had a nice mild taste not to strong. But it went out on me twice. I think it happened because I was on Ferry boat and the wind killed it.

Hey everyone,

Sorry I've been gone for so long, all i can say is that you'll have to blame my work! I've just been catching up on the hundreds of posts I've missed during my absence and see there are quite a few new members - so I'd just like to wish you all a warm welcome from across the pond!

As for cigars, I've just smoked a lovely Don Carlos #3 - beautiful cigar that lasted well over 2 hours. I had a glass of my homemade cider to go with it and it worked out very nicely indeed!

I must admit I've been spoiling myself a bit recently. I smoked one of my Cohiba Esplendidos at my uncle's 50th birthday party last week - unbelievable, those of you that have tried this cigar know what I'm talking about!

Last night I smoked a Anejo Reserva #48 with my father just because we could!

I hope you are all well - take care!

Good to see you're alive and well Ando. I suppose it wasn't hostile fire this time but I salute you nonetheless.

Kelvin, I have had both the corojo and the maduro in each size. They are indeed tasty. Albeit a little less complex than the Diploma but quite similar in my opinion. Very much a favorite of mine. how long was the stick as there are two topedo shapes? One is a bit stronger than the other even if it isn't a maduro.

I am pretty sure it was 6.5" long. I keep my stash at the office so I will check tomorrow. I have to try a Diploma - I had my first Hemingway 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed that.

Just broke down and smoked the last Edge by Rocky Patel this afternoon - damn I like that stick! Thanks Razorking - like I needed another cigar to add to my collection.

Started out with a strong cup of coffee and then switched to a cold bottle of water to finish it off. That sucker lasted well over an hour.

I finally had my first Diploma on Friday, exccceeeelllllent stick. Very nice, full smoke and great medium body. Last night I had a CAO Brazilia on the front porch. Another great stick with very full smoke. My order of C18's should be in this week and hope to be smoking one of them soon.

I had a Camacho Havana gigante yesterday. I thought it was a great cigar and was my first camacho. Today, I smoked a Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon, which has been sitting in the humidor for a few months.

Today is surprisingly sunny and calm in SF so I decided to take a walk near the Civic Center and have a smoke:

Ashton Aged Maduro No. 20

Smooth and creamy, and just what I needed after being in the kitchen all morning. It's funny up here today...half the city is shrouded in fog and cold, while the part I'm in is sunny and a comfortable 65º F.

After a busy day at work I ended with a tasty C18 - very tasty except for the fact that I had to relight once or twice...

Kelvin, the regular torpedo. The Missile size is smaller but a lot stronger.

I had a Fuente maduro Exquisitos on Sunday and a C10 today. Been too busy for churchills or anything like that.

Cao Brazilia Gol - very nice after dinner treat. Excellent, good smoke, accompanied by a glass of Cosentino 'Cigar Zin' Zinfandel after a somewhat heavy dinner.

I went to the tobacco shop to get a few odds and ends (the Gol, a Punch Champion, Hemingway Signature, and a punch rare corojo 'el doble' in coffin box that they have priced at 6.00, which seems cheap compared to cigar.com, maybe they mispriced it at the cigar shop.

Have a bundle of 50 primeros on the way, a few c10's and I believe a couple other from cigar.com...

I smoked some fake cubans. The bands looked good but I knew they smelled fishy. Then I lit them up. Not horrible but not cuban.

Smoked a padron 2000 monday eve in the back 40. Nice nite for it.

I reall y like those 2000s.

Smoked a CAO Extreme Belicoso on the way home yesterday. I have enjoyed every one of these I have smoked.

Had an AF Exquisito natural on the way to work this morning. First natural one I've had. Good morning short smoke.

Hi Guys!
Padron 2000 and Primero. I had a Padron 3000 the other night and they just got the nod for a box. Good full bodied smoke medium finish. Perfect draw, it was soo damn good I thought something was wrong with it.
Me and Ravyn saw The Clarks in a small outdoor venue. They are local for us. Air was perfect and the smoke just hung there. The people walking by were dodging the smoke giving us dirty looks while they puffed on their cigarettes!! Their Loss!

Sounds like a good time Razor - wish I had known about it ahead of time...
